  1. Another great showing from Lewis Kerr
  2. Hoping to keep it to -10. I'm Kyle will enjoy being a Diamond again for the night.
  3. We can only hope that is the last of the Rough Park cracks from down the A19. An absolute disgrace
  4. I expect Plymouth to win at home but not by enough to prevent a Diamonds aggregate win
  5. Diamonds to win again but much closer than last time 44-46
  6. In the short term teams can cope with R/R but when Newcastle have Richie, Robbo and Lindgren regularly riding EL, these guys are going to be cream crackered by June. We'll welcome Andrew back with open arms believe me.
  7. Various programmes given to me a while ago. Whover collected them seemed to like memorial meetings!! I'll deliver to Brough Park but would hope anyone else would pay the postage for me 26/05/2003 Chris Prime Memorial Trophy - filled in 27/03/1994 Wayne Garratt Memorial Challenge - filled in 26/09/2004 George English Memorial Trophy + Newcastle Gems v Oxford Academy - blank 07/04/1977 Newport v Weymouth Somerton Park - blank 30/08/1965 Alan Hunt Memorial Trophy Cradley Heath - blank 20/05/1966 World Championship QR Glasgow White City - blank with filled in seperate racecard 29/07/2001 Buxton v Sheffield - filled in 30/06/1996 Buxton v Linlithgow - filled in 10/06/1995 Buxton v Cleveland - filled in 14/07/2002 CL Riders Championship - blank 08/08/1982 Rye House v Newcastle - blank 07/05/2001 Rye House v Boston - filled in 29/05/1952 Wembley v New Cross - filled in 19/05/1989 Peter Craven Memorial Trophy Belle Vue - filled in 30/08/1996 Peter Craven Memorial Trophy Kirky Lane - filled in 04/06/1991 Brett Aldertom Memorial Trophy Milton Keynes - filled in 12/04/1988 Brett Alderton Memorial Meeting Milton Keynes - filled in 02/10/1984 Craig Featherby Memorial Milton Keynes - blank 21/05/2000 Buxton v Somerset - blank 28/05/2000 Buxton v Cradley Heath blank 19/05/2002 Buxton v Kings Lynn blank 17/09/1995 Buxton v Berwick blank 20/05/1995 The Buxton Gold Cup blank 01/07/1983 Hackney v Sheffield Waterden Road blank 11/05/1990 Paul Muchene Memorial Meeting Oxford - filled in 12/08/1985 Denny Pyeatt Memorial Pairs Meeting Reading - blank 02/08/1982 Denny Pyeatt Memorial Meeting Reading - blank 04/07/1983 Denny Pyeatt Memorial Meeting Reading - blank 12/04/2006 Oxford v Eastbourne - filled in 03/08/2005 Wimbledon Summer Fours - filled in 26/06/2011 Rye House v Berwick - filled in 07 +09/04/2007 Rye House v IOW & Lakeside - filled in 11/08/1988 Billy Sanders Memorial Meeting Ipswich - blank 21/03/1991 Billy Sanders Memorial Trophy Ipswich - filled in 19/03/1992 Billy Sanders Memorial Trophy Ipswich - filled in 17/03/1994 Billy Sanders Memorial Pairs Ipswich - filled in 20/09/1961 The Supporters Trophy New Cross - filled in 25/10/1973 Farewell Trophy Teeside - filled in
  8. He has had very good nights at Brough in the past and given a couple of weeks to dial in mind and machine I'm sure Andrew will average 8 at home
  9. Chewbacca

    Bydgoszcz Gp Saturday 20th April

The second semi has certainly gone into my top 5 races ever. Awesome stuff.
  10. Some of the track grading was because Newcastle riders had two on the trot due to rider replacement. It's a tactic seen all over the country. Agreed that it was a poor meeting with races generally settled from the gate. The whole meeting seemed a bit odd as Newcastle were obviously thrashing Workington all the way through only for the Comets to have the chance of a point in heat 15. The wonders of tactical rides eh?
  11. Two very strong sides now. Aarnio likes Brough and if Harrison and Bach click this could be real toughie for the Diamonds
  12. I'll be there. Let's hope it's warmer than the night of the Ben Fund meeting. I thought I was going to die.
  13. Feel free to criticise............when it's justified
  14. Josh Auty and David Howe good enough for you?
  15. Some of the tractor racing was due to riders having two on the trot due to rider replacement. Two fairly gentle slide off's and junior losing control barely deserves the Rough Park epithet. I take it no-one has ever fallen off at the the Scunthorpe wonder speedway?
  16. How lucky are we Diamonds fans to able to watch two young, exciting, ENGLISH talents coming of age? Lewis wad faultless tonight and that was no 'easy' max. He beat Auty and Howe fair and square. And how quickly we have got used to Richie banging in big scores. A good meeting tonight despite the score. Jorgensen, Auty and Howe all putting in some decent rides to push the Diamonds hard. Some great tussles. A top night at the speedway. PS - hope young Greenwood recovers quickly
  17. I said last Sunday that I can see Kerr pulling in a 5 point average by season end. Looks tidy.
  18. Yes, did well in the latter heats. Great show from young Lewis. Gives us a good chance on Sunday.
  19. One of those nights when everything goes wrong. Can only hope they all get home with no injuries.
  20. Not our happiest hunting ground. 51-39 to Scunthorpe
  21. Very little passing as the Diamonds were in front by the first bend most of the time. Pretty much all positive again for Newcastle but what happened to the Matej Kus who scored 13 on his first visit to Brough Park? Maybe he doesn't like the super smooth surface we have these days? Very encouraged by Lewis Kerr's last two rides. Gave Wilko a good race for 4 laps in one of them. I reckon he will easily hit his average and may well be 4-5 by seaon end. Anyone got any ideas why Richie stopped and then started again in ht13?
