Whoops! Mis read the Berwick v Sheffield date ! ... Klindt ? - Isn't he in the Danish Final as well? Stead for Hansen, Nicholls or King ? for Jensen and Roo Boy for Andersen. Usual Summers for Howarth and Stefan for Garrity. Should be ok for a Cov Select side

With the Bees only having 1 more match before the next lot of GSA's are released - it's gotta be close to Ryan Fisher coming back into the side in place of Kyle Howarth hasn't it? That would certainly make us stronger for the run-in don't you think?

Just seen the news - Great Signing Mick Horton & Co - restores the faith as it were .... Sorry to see Fisher go but it's a points / winning business and he has gone off the rails a bit unfortunately so had to make way - might be able to bring him back in at some stage if Howarth ups his average enough in the meetings he can do for us ? Onwards and upwards I hope ... Cheers

If the Coventry Bees management are serious about wanting to win the League this year we have to change the team ... Ryan Fisher always promises a lot on his starting average but you never see an increase for whatever reason - he has to go I am afraid and we need to get a recognised heat leader in his place which means we need to also change one other rider ... has to be Howarth despite him doing well - he is not always therer anyway for christ sakes! Out go Fisher & Howarth - both have Premier League teams anyway so we are not putting them out of work completely - in should come preferably Larsen or Buczkowski or Sundstrom maybe and then fit another double upper to the side - preferably one that can make the dates or how about a 4.00 foreigner if one exists? Out of interest how many more fixtures does Howarth miss? Cheers

So near yet so far ... if Bees really want to win the League this year we have t0 make a change while we have the points scope - Larsen for Fisher is the obvious one however if we are going to lose Howarth for more meetings than is going to be healthy lose Howarth and exchange for a rider c 6.2 ish - is there anyone out there though on such an average? Still think Larsen in for Fisher would be a great move.

Steamin !!! Absolutely steamin mad !!! Why oh why do we have a track as slick as Kojaks bonce when we have a team of so called racers ??? Tell the idiot of a track curator to put some bloody dirt on it ! Not withstanding the above - why does it 'catch the home riders out' ? For christ sake we know it's going to be slick so set the bikes up for slick - it worked after ht 10 ( mostly anyway ) Never gonna win anything with this team - Hans past his best now, Harris can't gate and on tracks like this can't pass either, Hansen is slower than a cart horse at present - Fish has other things on his mind and Kyle -noow Kyle is good but he 's not always there ! Reserves are doing their jobs. New averages out soon - need to ditch Hansen and get Kenni Larsen back if we can - might just make play-offs then ... Rant over - but still annoyed - god that track is even worse than the bore fest at Leicester !!

Surely it is now incumbent upon Coventry Stadium ( Sandhu & Heaver et co ) to act given this latest fiasco concerning Track Prep at Brandon Stadium - clearly the Curator does not know what he is doing ... the pictures say so, the riders say so, the team manager and ex world champion rider says so ... COME ON GUYS - SORT IT OUT OR COVENTRY SPEEDWAY WILL NOT SURVIVE THIS SEASON !!! Off to Leicester speedway tomorrow night - at least we will see some track action ...

So we turn up at Coventry Stadium to watch one of the most prestigious speedway events this country offers and we get ... a) a clearly unraceable track with most of the riders conducting a track walk shaking their heads in a negative manner! ' SKY TV already to go in their first meet of a new tv deal for the next 5 years only to witness 'zilch' c) disappointly aura of a 'run down' stadium - no extra food stands to the normal, still dirty air fence looking totally unprofessional. Messrs Horton and Co at Coventry Bees may not be to blame for the above problems but for once I agree with Shovvie - if it were my business, I'd sure as hell take more of an earlier interest in the matter to ensure the paying public / sponsors etc were not embarrassed as they have been today! Sad day for Speedway in general and Coventry speedway in particular.

How will the averages be worked out given the new race format ? No problems with the format but it does look like we have moved the goalposts re : average calculation given that Heat Leaders ( 1/3/5 ) do not ride against reserves any more ... Anybody out there in the know? Cheers

Personally I think we should choose Joe Jacobs from the top ten as he has Coventry connections racing with the Storm however not if he is going to be doubling up with a Fri night track in the PL ... if not Jacobs from the top ten then has to be Garrity ( when do Rye House race their meetings ? ) Cheers

So, if the air fence at Coventry was 'incorrectly secured' - then surely Chris Holder has a financial case for loss or earnings to pursue v someone in authority / accountability at Coventry ? Don't hear of any such issue going on - so probably not the case then !!?? PS : Hope Chris Holder is getting well again - need riders like him in Speedway.

Could not agree more in terms of the disparity between the two announced line-ups ! Was really looking forward to these couple of matches - rekindle some old time rivalry etc but heyy ... Lions team has three riders all with higher averages than our No 1 - and there is a whopping 4 points plus between the two teams in averages terms. Now a fit Linus Sundstrom or maybe a guest on a similar average ( Bomber, Cook or Schlein maybe ) instead of young James Sarjeant and would be about right. Neil - what possessed Bees to take on a team with three current Elite League Number 1's in it against a hopelessly mismatched septet who will do well to get within 10 points loss at home and gods know what away ? Loads of Bees fans will stay away jus tto make sure they are not roundly smashed home and away this weekend I fear .......... golden opportunity wasted !!!!!! :cry:

Good on Doyley - Lindgren shouldn't dish it out if he can't take it! Lindgren's move on Doyle was at twice the speed and doubly more dangerous in my opinion!

Probably right SS however if - as it seems - EK or EK's mechanics have cheated in an effort to gain an advantage over his fellow riders, his punishment should be more than just this?

Well I forone have 'cooled off'a bit following the furore created by this wholeunsavoury incident. Now having heard from Ed Kennett and his side of the story - he would appear to be genuine as if not why would he have gone on using the bike or loaned it out to Nick Morris - who incidently has nothing to reproach himself for at all. So the 'mechanic' gets the chop and takes the blame .... does he get named and shamed ? Lesson to be learned by Eddie I believe and he needs to take on board whatever sanctions / internal discipline is forwarded his way without question. Hopefully he can comeback stronger and wiser ... he will still get my support if he can move on from this disappointing incident.

Think Hans Andersen gsa too high as replacement for Kennett .... How does Andersen for Brummies and Kasprzak for Bees as Kennett's replacement fit?

Just seen Coventry Bees official statement on their website and to be fair a very good statement it is too .... as for Kennett ... sack him despite his efforts in the past and this season - how many other points has he scored using a dodgy sliencer then? What an abuse of his position as a rider and a captain for god's sake of the Bees ....

How can it be that a rider does not know about it ..... unless of course we are to believe a mechanic is to take the complete blame ... a la Leon Madsen ..... Didn't believe it then and don't believe it now. If that Silencer was tampered with - he knew about it! Silly, silly boy!

I sincerely hope that this news is not true and that Eddie Kennett has not been found cheating ... If however this is true and Eddie Kennett has deliberately tampered with his silencer to gain advantage over his rivals then he should be sacked - cheats cannot be allowed to prosper and should be severely dealt with regardless of nationality, capability, etc. Really puts a downsider on what was supposed to be a great away victory ......
