  1. No idea what you are on about regards what matey does/says. Wasn't it only yesterday you were telling someone i am the only one you have on ignore?? So hard to keep up with some. Keep em on ignore if you don't want to read what they have to say or let yourself down by replying to them! Either way its of no consequence to me.
  2. So Poole will lose their advantage of RR

On the same grounds that had the forum shut down for a few weeks in the bleak winter of the Bees/Panthers BSPA walk out. It has already happened so the same applies. Hopefully forum users will remember to think before they post libelous/slanderous thoughts.
  4. Yet some still try to defend him. Decent League rider , dreadful play off history. End of.

    Fair point, same meaning.

Think everyone should be careful of making slanderous comments because it will close down BSF like it did last time.

You aren't on ignore but i`m always right that you have little to add to make it worth me doing the same. Sometimes banal is easy to ignore anyway.

So you are suggesting Holder, Ward, Woffy, Zagar, Andersen wont be either?
  10. The price is hardly any higher!!!! Think its great value including a programme. Is their any track that guarantees seats anyway??

Regards flymo johno i thought the signing was a decent one at the time, given his great record at Monmore and history of big scores. But what we actually got was an average rider who would never be able to replace Sam anyway. Think he took a lot of stick but some of it was warranted - particularly his slow bikes.

I just choose my meetings if it gets like that, but i enjoy my speedway fix way too much. We were lucky that it was in a time when decent riders still wanted to come and were worth the investment. Michelsen clearly wanted to come over so IMHO more should have been done, but supporters have in the whole been satisfied because we have been one of the better teams this season No matter how we moan these promotions still run our clubs AND sport. Give supporters a decent team and they will come, simple as.
  13. Those emotions are for the believe you post less gibberish, actually i think they deserve an extra one.
  14. I`m the same with Steve S/internetman et al/starman2006, its the same stuff recycled. Don`t think it is debatable at all. Monday night proved you are way stronger without him.
  15. I guess by that time i may find a sensible reply from that poster
  16. Such contradiction. ` No one expected us to get this far` so you clearly were the lightweights. Or which way do you wish to try turn it?? Just ignore the fact that the vast majority were saying the same thing tho wont you, conveniently. Don`t forget to acknowledge my post 432 because you claimed i have said nothing on your progress to the final. Unlike you i can see past the biased blueness. Don`t worry, your posts leading up to the next few weeks will make us all laugh , that is one thing you can be guaranteed. No doubt the bookies still have Poole as favourites but the Brummies to me remain so. Surprised your (not very good) understudy internetman et al hasnt liked your quoted post yet. It must be like having a love sick puppy, bless.

Have never understood the `vote with your feet` argument. Why would anyone who loves Speedway and their local team stop going just to make a point?? As i have said, some need to be careful what or who they wish for!

It was Sky high up till Ty got injured. They have been running on empty for quite a while now. You only have to look at the Stars, Hammers for example to see how holding your head Sky high at the tail end of the season is a hard thing to do when you have half of your team missing. Brum are lucky that they have kept the same team all season and have been able to build that team spirit throughout the season. So you seriously want me to believe that by having Cook at number one (plus obviously still desperately missing Ty and Jacob) means that it was a likely chance of winning then? Of course anything was possible and is on the night, but we had all the odds stacked against us. Particularly when we have a non number one guesting for the league`s best rider. Brum needed to have a lot of bad luck and a couple of off par performances (smolinski and covatti i grant you did) plus no riders able to dominant proceedings. Only then was it possible to pull off a shock. It was hardly ever going to happen - i guess that's why our boys started in a determined way. Freddie not doing anything in heat 3 proved that it was all going to be a wasted course.

Team spirit must have been dragged out with every injury worry. It was sky high before Ty got injured. Plus last night was only ever a formality, despite the huff and puff of both promotions.
  20. aaah bless, wondered how long it would take for you to pipe up with something irrelevant.

I feel at this stage there is no point talking about who we want and whyuntil we know what the points limit or EL structure is going to be, other than to say having TAI back is a must.

You have to be careful what you wish for sometimes. Many knock CVS, i know i have in the past, but year after year we have a club that is stable and never seems any doubt that we will come to the tapes season upon season. When you constantly hear of other promotions threatening to pull out or struggle to pay riders we should feel in a much better position season on season. I feel the same a lot of Wolves fans do that sometimes we tend to appear to do things `on the cheap` and lack the bite to make ruthless changes that may bring us more success. However i always feel safe in the knowledge that we will be coming to the tapes each season - if i was a Brummies, Peterborough, Coventry fan, as examples, i would feel less secure in having a team to support year on year.
  23. Poole are with the bookies.
  24. You are poster that knows rubbish, one day you might say something of any interest. Best read posts before you post in future. Post 432 is there to wipe that smirk off your face.
  25. Hats off to the Pirates, RR making them much stronger but the Robins looked anything like the powerhouse they have been all season. Well done on your Final appearance , never expected it.
