Well the signs are pointing towards Miskowiak. Cant say i`m impressed but it has to be better than RR that is for sure. Remains to be seen if he really was bang out of form in the UK with Poole or the pressure of riding for the Pirates was just too much for him. One thing is sure, he will either score 13 or 2 if his EL career is anything to go by. Either way i am happy we haven't got the farce of RR for the play offs at least.

    i so hope so.

But better than RR all the same.

We are singing from the same hymn sheet then. The RIGHT replacement is key, and not just a signing for the sake of it. But that right signing is needed. As for the play offs, of course they start next month but you need to be in form leading up to them, not the week they start. Last night was great result wise, the facts remain we have been indifferent for weeks now.

So would i, that isn't then point. We have had a superb year , whilst the injuries have muted our dominance it hasn't stopped us from still battling for top spot. It is the injury to Ty that has seen our dominance turned into indifference. I was/am hoping the management feel the same and would do what it takes to bring in a replacement that would turn us back into favourites again. So the statement that a replacement has to be `affordable` sums up the aim for this season right now and the play offs. Forgive me, as a fan, if i feel a little cheated. When nearly all other forum posters say that Wolves are the easy option in the play offs it tells you a lot about our chances. Whilst i will never rule out our play off hopes of another title, we seem to be out of form of late. NOT what you want in August.

Glad you are happy with RR

Must admit that is my sentiment right now also.

Agreed, but not a signing for signing sake. Whilst RR has shown its inadequate signing someone who really hasn't taken any chances well at EL level is just a desperate step. My enthusiasm is dwindling with every passing day that we don't get a decent replacement tho

Cant see why he would, hasn't looked EL level and is most definetly not the answer to replace Ty.

Really? With that long wagging tail?

At least it would save me money, i wouldn't want to pay to watch him in a Wolves jacket.

    Wolverhampton 2013

Indeed. However we need NEW RIDER to re-focus the belief i have seen all season that this is a team that can beat anyone over 2 legs. It needs to happen ASAP, otherwise we will have run out of steam by the play offs.

And it still should be done. There are plenty of NL/PL reserve standard riders that would happily come along for a nominal fee and a chance to pit themselves against the top boys. YES OK they are likely to be out there depth. But isn't that better than the possibility of only 3 riders if injuries occur during a match when you are already operating RR? Yet again, another do it on the cheap approach by the BSPA. Number 8`s should be compulsory.

    King's Lynn Stars 2013

The Stars have clearly run over several black cats this season, such terrible luck.

Interesting suggestion, although Proctor being our asset should make a difference!

    Wolverhampton 2013

Why? Doesn't matter to us who makes the top 4. We should feel confident enough over 2 legs over all the teams that can make it.

    Why The Animosity?

I think its a pretty open thing that most of the promoters don't want to listen to fans/social media etc as they seem to believe that they can and are doing a better job than the suggestions offered. Plus of course we have a sport run by people who put their money where their mouth is so feel it is THEIR right to ignore BSF etc. However you look at it the gradual gap of sharing of information about how the sport is run, how the rules are applied or adapted gets wider with every passing season. It doesn't really seem all that long ago that the highlights of the AGM were reading through the changes/rules/decisions made that were well detailed and pretty understandable. Now, hardly anything of the rules except the basics are mentioned or detailed.

Didnt hear the interview but typical trying to get the right rider on the cheap when we have a superb chance with the right rider to win the play offs I will be fuming if Mikkel was one of those who they talked too. As Orion said, we should have walked it if we had him at number 2.

    Michelsen already signed for Eagles.
  20. Cradley legend JAN O PEDERSEN will be presenting the trophies on Saturday at Sandwell Cycle Speedway. (27th July) The meeting is the 5th Round of the ORCHID CHARITY sponsored EUROVETS. The leader board shows Coventry`s JOE McLAUGHLIN is the current leader with Birmingham`s PAUL TIMMS 4 points behind in 2nd. Points from each round accumulate, much like a GP. The meeting starts at 1PM with refreshments and programmes available. Parking at the track. So any Cradley fans who want to come along and see Jan O are more than welcome. HOW TO FIND US - The Entrance is via metal gates about half way down the hill on the right (coming down Lower City Road). Once thru the gates follow the road right round to the far side of the playing field. Tividale Community Recreation Centre Venue address Lower City Road, TIVIDALE, West Midlands. King's Lynn Stars 2013

SCB beat me to it. Rory has retired from representing Australia plus his average is lower the PL standard rider you are alluding to in the EL anyway so all round the right call was made on team selection. Doyle 7.39 Schlein 6.97 . Enough said.

    Why So Few Brits

By birth Crump IS British! Like Tai, you CAN chose! And yes, i am amazed you missed him off in the first place!

Agreed. The genuine break through many said would happen was a one season wonder.

Isn't he just having a usual season tho?

    Wolverhampton 2013

Agreed RR is more often than not not a good long term thing, plus as we saw tonight it was hopeless. Still would have 3 points more than Artur!
