    Hard Racing Or Dirty Riding?

Glad its not me getting the `anthony` treatment. Just goes to show the rules are THAT clear in this sport than can be interpreted in which ever way you want. So its quite clear that BOTH opinions are right.

but he will still whine if he doesn't win. but yea you are right - there isn't anyone as consistent at the moment.

    Hard Racing Or Dirty Riding?

dont matter who you talk too in my opinion. Its either dangerous move or just racing. Depends on your view point. Plus all are right anyway

good old nicki. would have been different if he would have won. He would have said sommat on the lines of `its the same for all the guys you know`

    Swc Qualifier 1

Well done to Hungary. Still dont think they are an emerging nation, whilst at least the experience will give the American guys a bit of international experience. However the fact they were so outclassed proves there is HUGE work to be in the homeland. The riders coming through are clearly not ready for the big stage whilst Janniro must have been a huge let down and in this company should have cleared up. Time to re-group and try at least to get your established stars to perform and give encouragement.

    Hard Racing Or Dirty Riding?

as usual it ALWAYS comes back to your own definition of dirty riding. Clearly there are those that think it was and just as many who dont. Clearly ALL are rights opinions.

and 12 others would happily swap that. indeed. I think some of your lot were saying over the past few years we had no one of quality to get into the GPs and now we have 2

    Too Much Pressure On Harris

To be fair he built his part up himself. Winning the British Final AND British GP comes with its own pressures. Hes a pale comparison to the rider he was last season although at least he seems to be getting it together in the league. Still not convinced he is the real deal just yet and seems to be struggling somewhat. But he still can have a big future.

On the incident - no intent or malice on gollobs part. He got the line he wanted and assumed he was clear hence why he looked over. in my opinion. On the meetings - CONGRATULATIONS to the BEST rider on show FREDDIE LINGREN. Wouldnt the Bees LOVE to have a quality GP rider to support

    Gp Series 2009

Of course there will. The money we put into it and Cardiff means that we will ALWAYS get a representative. I do - it SHOULD be about promoting British talent. Thats just an assumption. Why dont we just let any other country have the wildcard then. Perhaps then then you can fully give up your rights to want a successful national team. Why not? Who thought Dryml would qualify for this season after years of middle order averages. Its amazing - isnt that what the same British boys are accused of only being? Its no wonder our boys dont wanna move up and forward with such negativity as this lot. Rant over

    Hard Racing Or Dirty Riding?

i must agree. think gollob was just eager to get on a particular piece of the track and he did check where AJ was and think he assumed he had the speed on him. Nothing malicious or intent i believe.
  13. The Eagles to win with Wolves as runners up
  14. King took him with a superb pass and a much deserved 2nd place id say
  15. Just got home. A decent way to start the season. Some pretty decent racing too, tho the elite leaguers proving too powerful. Howe was a class above and good to see the foot injury hasnt stopped him. (tho he was still limping a fair bit). Nice was to start the year Howie
  16. For Schumi - from last nights Wolves forum - "Apparently in waiting for PK to make a decision, Wolves turned down an approach from a top line rider wanting a place. Only guy I think that could be is Nicholls. Nicki's management team approached Wolves, but they confirmed up front Nicki could only do a certain number of meetings." So like hancock, PK and many other riders who wanted to cut back there commitments. Its becoming even clearer that not only the points limit forced Nicki out of British speedway. Surely if you only want to ride in so many meetings you gotta know that its unlikely any team is going to sign you, world champion or not. Its like ive been saying all along then!!!!!!
  17. To be fair Schumi your first point you have a point. As it wasnt quoted its possible that it is speculation. However given the alternative spin ive mentioned to what you have been told still leads me to believe it may or may not still be true. Clever choice of quotes by the way to try back up your theory as being the only credible one. Ive discussed in great details what ive heard , whats been written or speculated and why i have the opinion that i have now. As in there could be a combination of circumstances going on that saw Nicki NOT in British Speedway. Im not gonna keep going over old ground with you Schumi but to me there could be a mixture of reduced points limit, pricing himself out the market (however i agree the proof now seems to suggest that they were just rumours and nothing more than), being left without a team (now that one IS down to Nicki). IF and as i dont know so IF Nicki turned down the only chance to ride here this year was for his parent club, the one that has most rights to him, and he turned them down or turned them down because he expected to go to Eastbourne then thats really nobody`s fault but Nicki`s. Choosing not wanting a full season initially as he has hinted at in the press and on SKY COULD also have played into his hands at the end of the year as i imagined but he may or may not have binned that idea with regards to him riding him here. Again only Nicki knows thats so if you asked him THAT question then you could enlighten us Schumi. Ive explained MY side at great length Schumi and think ive covered things and all my thoughts on the matter very well. Your basing your TRUTH on what Nicki told you, and im basing part of my opinion on a truth that i was told. So your right and im right. You only want to believe ONE theory Schumi and wether you carry on debating it or not wont change anything. I know what i know which ive discussed - you choose to give it no discussion at all which clearly says to me that you really only want to make it look like im changing my mind. Ive given you ALL my thoughts and opinions on it. Like you Schumi, ill continue doubting YOUR reason as its JUST the points limit that forced him out. Im sure YOU will just keep believing that.
  18. So interviews with rags dont count?? Make your mind up Schumi as to what is believable or not. Or is it that only Schumi`s opinion is the right one I havent changed my tune at all. ALL ive said is that its not JUST that the points limit have forced him out. There are other factors and the interview is clearly stating that. If you dont take interviews with newspapers seriously , are you asking folk not to be believe whats written in the Speedway star then too?? If you cant blame NP for turning down Wolves and Eastbourne for not wanting to use him then are you suggesting that somebody else should be put out of work to accomodate him now?? GP riders i would say dont mind riding in the UK on a monday at all as its a big chance they will be on SKY again - plus gives valuable exposure to them and there sponsors. Like you say, Nicki dont want to ride in the UK mondays. HE therefore is missing out on being on SKY some mondays then isnt he?? He cant have it all his own way now surely?? Its only posts that disagree with you dont like
  19. Nice one. So there you go - from the horses mouth so to speak. Turned down Wolves and got turned down by Eastbourne. So its even clearer - his pickiness cost him a place as much as the points limit. Thanks for clearing that up Nicki.
  20. If you read the post then you will know what i was told. Factually you should read things properly before resorting to BUM jokes. Be bored or not, ive explained things fully. Here YOU go again. I'm quite aware what the original point was. Wether Nicki wanted to ride here or not. And you've clearly pointed out that he couldn't be fitted in at Eastbourne. No one team can guarantee a team place. You can use the same argument for any of the top riders. I KNOW Nicki wanted to be back WITH EASTBOURNE - they choose not to use him and nobody else wanted to use him for WHATEVER reason that is. So YES the points limit forced him out. BUT so did the fact that he only wanted to ride for Eastbourne and not for the teams that could fit him in (no facts on that). I'm not questioning Nicki`s loyalty to British Speedway - just to his parent club!!!! I'm giving you all the facts but you choose to just look at it through your rose tinted glasses! I'm quite happy to put this to bed. So long as you know its NOT just as simple as you keep stating it is. This is SPEEDWAY - nothing is as simple as just that!!!!!!!!! i like that!
  21. For all your FACTS a hell a lot of it is no different to mine. An informed opinion. I have heard from a reliable source, and no i wont name then because it was told to me in confidence , that Nicki initially had no intention of coming over and doing a full season. Thats from someone who talks to Nicki also by the way. Im sure Nicki tells fans the complete truth when asked - maybe he does maybe he doesnt - ive no idea. I know the line thats being fed NOW from the Pedersen camp is that he has been forced out - but like i said i heard different. Theres another FACT for you. Ive already said with regards to the wages issue - NOBODY KNOWS!!!!! However its been in print that clubs abroad decided not to use him because he would cost to much. Call it rumour or not - it looks more than a rumour to me so no i wont discount it! Ive also already discussed the Eastbourne situation. RIGHT! its what i said!!! Nicki wasnt back with Eastbourne because of the points limit. You could argue how loyal were Eastbourne to Nicki then? Really wanted NOT. Yet you slate Wolves for `obviously` not wanting him back. How do you know wether Nicki was approached to come to Wolves and ride and what his decision was - did you ask him? If you have that answer then ill listen - otherwise your just doing precisely what i do - try and mkake an informed choice of the situation. You say that Eastbourne didnt see his wage bill a problem - yet in print its also stated that they were looking to go with balance and cut down the wages. Again your putting a spin on a discussion same as i am. Your opinion is no more correct than mine. As already discussed also virtually all the other clubs hadnt got space for Nicki so of course he was going to br limited to where he could go. As for the situation at Wolves - Who Knows??? Well CVS obviously does and your opinion on that is a very biased one. The fans hate Nicki as much as Nicki does us. He has said over and over in the press yet CVS would have us believe he is still popular at the club. He DOES have his supporters here who would love him back. PK was not going to do a full season and the rumour mill was suggested that Pedersen would be back as theres been veined references in the programmes last season about wether the time will be right to sell if he still doesnt ride for his parent club. So again one may think that he will at the minimum have spoken to wolves (CVS has already gone on record saying he asks Nicki each year what he wants to do the next season) and it can either be assumed he said NO THANKS or we would have gone a different path. And lets be honest if they would have PK back for a full season there was a chance the door was open for `number one` rider to be fitted in?? I think PK`s reluctance and possibly NP to come maybe forced the managers hand to go with the balance we have this season. Like i keep on stating. ONLY CVS WILL KNOW. As its our forum Wednesday its bound to be asked as it usually is. Maybe then you can decide wether you thoughts and opinions have any basis with regards to NP place at Wolves. Rightly so that the stuck with Freddie and David this season - they actually want to ride for Wolves. Pedersen clearly doesnt. Anyway on that one i couldnt care less. To finish - in your mind its quite simple. Doesn't necessarily mean it is. Simplistically NP HAS been forced out by the reduction in averages . However his initial reluctance to do a full season and possibly asking for too much from the clubs that spoke to him (if any) and not wanting to come to Wolves meant the chance that he did have limited himself to the point that HE forced himself out! Simple? might not be THAT simple. You dont need to highlight points for me Schumi, im bright enough to read for myself - as i assume you are.
  22. ive had nothing reduced ill have you know
  23. sorry the responses are within the text
  24. In your opinion. Which im not particularly interested in. Im not wrong at all. its called an OPINION. The guy has been asking for mega money from ALL the countries he races in. Either HE or his management are asking, which they are entitled to do. Im not saying i have all the facts, who does, however im quoting what has been generally understood. I believe (my opinion) is that he believed a club would use him in particular Eastbourne and he seemingly has no interest in riding for his parent club. If he wants to limit his options then there is no use bemoaning the fact you haven't got a British club! There are MANY reasoned stevebrum posts should you wish to look , however if you only pick up on the limiting posts then that is your perogative. Ive debated this many times anyway so unless you havent read my posts on it before then your behind the times. (like you schumi i TOO can debate) By the way if you want to get into reasoned debates and not accuse someone of resorting to insults how about you practise what you preach? might just be a start. As being repetitive as you claimed your not - i was only stating that you had said that you will say it as often as you like (for my behalf i believe??!!) Unless im wrong, if you keep repeating things to make a point i reckon you can call that repetitive. Now, back to the reasoned debate you wanted schumi?
