    Ipswich V Scunthorpe 30- 7- 15

All The Best thinks somebody is smug.......blimey ☕️
  2. Just because I know it will, make you happy.... Tungate has picked up a couple of meetings in Poland during his UK ban that he wouldn't normally have been able to make so earnings being supplemented
  3. The ban only covers 2 home and 2 away meetings. The home meetings are against poor, weak opposition Worky and Scunthorpe. The away meetings are Somerset tomorrow (likely to be rained off) and Plymouth. Guest facility to cover Tungates absence. Probably makes the Witches stronger in the away meeting(s).
  4. June you really are a daft old bat! Do you seriously think any judgement is based on the extent of any injury sustained? You really need to get over this small club mentality and accept that the world isn't against you. If it wasn't for the pious attitude being adopted by the likes of yourself and the particularly condescending 'All The Best Rob' you may have found more people agreeing with you or at least being more open minded about events. If Tungate doesn't receive a ban now the Scunthorpe part of this forum may well go into melt down with the first class blubbing coming from 'All The Best Rob' and cronies.
  5. What a biazarre post. You 'feel' Tungate was 'definitely' in the wrong. The evidence is 'not that great' and you 'can't clearly see'. So your guessing right? Frankly not really the stuff cases are based on is it. Do you expect the BSPA/SCB to just guess?
  6. And strangely enough all those who are convinced of Tungates guilt are Scunthorpe supporters. It only goes to show its a matter of opinion and of course the two sides will have different views. That's why these count for nothing. The video is the only so called evidence and since that is from a poor angle and a long distance it also proves nothing. Certainly not clear enough to base a case on. That leaves only the refs view. Now some claim he didn't see the incident in which case it all ends there. If he did see something, hence the fine, then this will decide the case against Tungate. I fully expect it to go no further due to the lack of clear impartial evidence. What I do expect is a large fine and possible other penalties against the Scunthorpe promotion club officials for refusing to allow the meeting to continue and failing to control the crowd and allowing them onto the race track during a meeting. There is also the potential that other Scunthorpe club officials could be fined and sanctioned if the refs report includes mention that they tried to influence his decision as was clearly outlined on this forum. All The Best TSO Sorry June love but your eyesight suggested previously that the incident took place 'on the back straight'. This witnesses evidence can be ignored m'lord!
  7. Looks like Auty takes a dive to me. Shame really given the way he hands it out you'd think it accept what comes around.
  8. Presumably they will also pass on video footage of the following 'unsavoury' incidents? - Scunthorpe club officials preventing continuation of a meeting against the referres wishes - Club staff (mechanics) involved in fighting - Home supporters entering the track area during the running of a meeting - Club officials trying to influence referres decisions
  9. So your taking 'the rough with the smooth'. You win some you lose some. Good for you fella. Enjoy 👉👌
  10. As expected, a completely unbiased account form Philwhiteismad (Scunthorpe supporter) 👍

    Ipswich 2015

Can't help thinking that the biggest winner in all of this sorry affair is Tungate. Certainly has taken the focus off his failings this season.
  12. If Tungate got man of the match, Stevie Wonder must have been the judge!

    Ipswich 2015

And theres another one! Surpassed himself this time by costing as a home meeting as well as the usual away ones. Once again he's shown that he does not have the setup, backup or strength to travel to a European meeting and then backmtomthe UK for a league meeting in the same weekend. I would pass comment on his ability to pass on track but frankly there's nothing to talk about!

How many more meetings is Tungate going to cost the Witches? This guy is a fraud with his home form disguising his woeful away performances.

Ipswich V Peterborough 3/4 Both Legs

So to avoid any confusion between a 13:45 or 14:00 start, parade murmours into life at 13:53. You'd think with punters wanting to get to Portman Road a bit more effort would have been in order.

Ipswich V Peterborough 3/4 Both Legs

And yet the signs at the stadium entrance and the first post on this thread quote 1:45 and not 2pm

Good Friday and the annual guess the start time quiz thanks to the Witches creaking PR machine.

Somerset V Ipswich Fri 10th Oct

As I said previously, you do talk a lot of tosh and excel at stating the bleeding obvious once somebody has already pointed it out to you! All the best The Special One (who definately isn't or hasn't Had Enough)
  19. From you (not) Had Enough (names on this forum) that is indeed a complement
  20. For a club official and even worse somebody responsible for writing words on behalf of the club you don't half talk some tosh. Basically in this play off group all matches have gone to form. Somerset will win the group due to beating both other teams out of site at the OTA and by virtue of the point they gained at Scunthorpe a feat and score line repeated from earlier in the season. Ipswich stuffed both teams at home, again as per the form of earlier in the season. The scoreline in the Somerset match a virtual repeat. Yes they could have and should have won by more but that makes no difference given the point Somerset gained at Scunthorpe. It could be argued that the only result to go against form is the much better scoreline Ipswich achieved second time round at the EWR. Somerset advance to the final due to them being, as the table suggests, the best team in the group. Ipswich and Scunthorpe good at home but not good enough away from home. Time to lose that chip/sack of spuds on your shoulder. All the best.

    Ipswich 2014

Checking the details it was actually two UK meetings on the Friday, Germany on the Saturday and the single point at a Rye House on the Sunday.

    Ipswich 2014

The only clue is the same rider also took an individual booking in Germany earlier this season on a Friday, the day after a home meeting, and followed it the day after on the Saturday with a dismal 1 point return at Rye House.

    Ipswich 2014

Having experienced that personally first hand I understand. However, very few riders would embark on a 3 meeting in 3 day tour without assistance of some kind. This tour has been in the diary all season, plenty enough time to arrange help whether it is from the full time usual mechanic or at least somebody willing to travel to oil chains and help with the driving.

    Ipswich 2014

“I don’t think the team, individually, were prepared well enough for varying reasons...." A very good point. Certainly not ideal that a rider would take an individual booking in German the day before a 3 meeting in 3 days northern tour. Also not ideal that one of the team's more professional riders should embark on the same 3 meeting tour, scheduled weeks in adavance, with no mechanic.
