As Bandit59 says, it was mentioned in the meeting against Edinburgh by Dennis I believe as Mr McGregor was getting some dogs abuse at the time!

What's the crack with the rules on rolling starts? We were told after the Edinburgh meeting that if a rider does jump the start that it must be pulled back even if they have penalised themselves. Happened a couple of times with the Scunthorpe riders moving and it was let go... Not complaining as we had made the gate each time... But again, where is the consistency?

There's a trend.... You got battered at Berwick and have been beaten at Redcar... And they're snooze fests?

We've stepped on quite a few black cats it seems... Lewi out and now losing Jye and Drew....
-
Must win for us this one if we have any aspirations of progressing this season.... It's doable but won't be counting any chickens considering the Monarchs held Poole to 9 points at home.

Well.. with Leon in instead of Claus it may have been a very different meeting! Still very proud that we were in it right till heat 15 when you consider how we've done over recent years!

Well Big Jim tried his best to ensure the points went back up the road with some very dodgy decisions but we ground that win out! Nasty crash for Bastian after he was brought down and only hope it's nothing serious... But he looked very very uncomfortable sadly :-(

The same Lewis Kerr who beat Chris Harris not once, not twice but three times last week. Not many do that to Bomber (who IMO is one of the best to have ridden in Black & Gold) at Berwick. Lewi has very quickly endeared himself to Berwick fans.

Time to rack up as big a score as we can and keep momentum going.
Nice to feel positive and happy going to meetings... It's been a hard few years as a Berwick fan!

Certainly angered a couple of Weegies sat in front of us I get the impression they thought he'd go through the card easily! I still thought he rode very well... Maybe we have lower expectations as Berwick fans then Glasgow do
Anyways... 3 wins from 3.... And hopefully another decent meeting with Edinburgh to come next week... Can't remember the last time the start of a season had me smiling

He was on the back straight where the tannoy wasn't good and he wouldn't have got the view the home straight had...I was Sat right at the tapes and sorry to say for you that Batch didn't get it! It was close though
A very good display from Berwick on a decent track that held up well considering the weather that's been had this week. There was a team much more up for it tonight and they weren't from the West Coast

1. Redcar
2. Glasgow
3. Berwick
4. Oxford
5. Poole
6. Scunthorpe
7. Workington
8. Edinburgh
9. Plymouth
I've seen some say they like the look of Berwick... And for the first time in many seasons, so do I and many other Berwick fans! We've got a TM who won't put up with underperforming riders and a promotion who've put their trust in him! We've got a mixture of youth and experience... Just a whole improved feeling which we've lacked for a while! Kk menu
Poole have a good top 4 but considerably weaker bottom end this year!
Scunthorpe will miss Douglas this year IMO! How do you replace someone that good though?
Oxford have one of the best top two in the league but again a weaker bottom end may find them out! Pressure on Nicholls and Masters to consistently be hitting double figures!

He isn't a Poole fan if that's what you're implying!

Mc131 is never that far off the mark! Very good acquisition if it turns out we have got him!

Can certainly gate but I found it very frustrating watching him last year due to his inconsistency , but that might just be me.
I'd take riders at Berwick with the ability to gate.... You can certainly pass at our place, we've seen that a lot over the past 2 years, but gating is half the battle! We need to ensure we win our home matches this year .. 4 and 5 losses a season at home isn't good enough! The 3 we've signed so far I am happy with
