  1. Keep costs down.. More utter utter tripe. How many more seasons will they spend trying to keep costs down? Do they not have eyes? Can they count? They moan about making losses year after year, moan about declining crowds year after year and still can't figure out that one of THE major contributing factors is the consistent weakening of the league! The Elite League is being reduced to a group of men desperately clinging onto their power.

    Ben Barker V Tai Woffinden

The ability of other english riders has nothing to do with the ability of either Woffinden or Barker. Based upon your logic, Greg Hancock is tat.. after all, the standard of the other Americans isn't exactly high is it. See how dumb your statement looks now? Not that anybody, bar you, is suggesting that Woffinden & Barker are the best English riders.

He hasnĀ“t retired, just changed jobs. He is already setting up another business. Try and keep up.

He isn't retiring from work, he is retiring as a professional speedway rider.

I guess we are lucky at Wolves in that we have had a long list of riders who have been loyal to the club and only ever rode elsewhere when they simply could not be fitted in at the club. Ermolenko, Correy, PK, Mikael Karlsson/Max, Adam Skornicki, Lindgren to name a few of the obvious ones. From speaking to some of the current team, first and foremost they want to be back at Wolves next year.

Really? Not the case from riders I speak with.

Czestochowa V Gdansk Sunday 10th October

It will be a good thing for Darcy, he's good enough to stand on his own two feet.

No doubt Dirt will tell us what a fool the Torun president is before long.. Does this signal the end of the Holder/Ward roadshow?
  10. At the moment.. until the withdrawals begin. But wait, Dirt and yourself tell us that for the riders, individual meetings are where its at! We will see... As for those GP stars who were allegedly meant to be invited.. well, the press release on 22nd September stated that invitiations had been sent out. No wonder nobody wanted to do it. Those invitations should have gone out at the start of the season so riders have chance to plan in advance!!
  11. And we weren't let down.
  12. I know, I'm sure we won't be let down.
  13. Of what relevance is his GP avg to an Elite League Riders event.

Time to move on me thinks....
  15. Correct, definately announced as the 1st. However, it seems the riders all thought it was Thursday 30th!!! BSPA site says Thursday 30th.. So who knows!

Your efforts so far 2nd place is a 'beyond poor' season. Monmore Green is an awful trick track which produces poor racing. Woffinden has gone backwards because of a below par playoffs performance (nothing to do with several bad crashes). and the best of all... bragging about a 'banker' bet, AFTER the event, forgetting the fact that the bet actually lost. Fool is a kind word for someone coming out with such drivel. I look forward to the next comedy moment you are sure to provide!

Guys, we all need to ease off KingKennethSpeed. Its a tough time for him, he has a very serious dilemna going on. He is faced with two choices.... a: King Kenneth couldn't care less about Peterboro and put no effort in, knowing he had a GP on the horizon... or, bearing in mind this first choice is too horrific for KingKennethSpeed to face up too, he is left with one that is perhaps even worse for him to cope with... b: He did try, but is a rider of such limited ability he couldn't cope with dirt on the track.....

more claptrap from the guy who classes 2nd in the table as a 'beyond poor' season. Tai's average is pretty similar to last year, when you consider he has spent most of the year riding at No 5 and been in most Heat 15's he has actually done pretty well.

Given up on comparing King Kenneth to Lindgren now then? Has King Kenneth slipped so far he now bares comparison to a 20 year old middle order rider?

You clearly have not watched the replay have you. Harris was already falling before Schlein got out of shape. And to answer your question. No Harris can't just go charging in at high speed if there is a slower rider in front of him. Every week in meetings all over the country you will see races where a slower rider has gated. The rider behind has to either choose a different line if he wishes to go charging in or go slower himself and wait for the opportunity.

Then Harris shouldn't be entering the corner at such speed should he? It doesn't matter how you twist it around, it was the fault of Harris. You're still conveniently forgetting that Harris was already down before Schlein even made his mistake.

Watching the slow motion replay, Harris made the first mistake, started to correct it and was then already on his way down BEFORE Schlein made his mistake. Absolutely no way in the world that Schlein should have been excluded. Even if you say Harris had to lay it down because he would have collected Rory, then its still Harris to go. Otherwise you would be suggesting that a quicker rider, when behind just has to ride into the guy in front and claim he was going too slow!

~ Your number 1 is there to do a job. Lead from the FRONT. To not even be able to turn a bike, when in the same race someone posts the track record is the biggest indictment that Bjerre is a very very limited rider who relies more than most on slick tracks and fast engines. Good riders can adapt to conditions. The King is dead.

Talk to me about King Kenneth.. This superstar who is better than Lindgren... How many pts did he score for you in the play-offs? Now forgive me, as the screen was at the other end of the track, but it appeared to me that on a track that produced a track record.. King Kenneth could not even turn the bike and looked like a No 7 in the NL.
