  1. Isn't there supposed to be a rule that riders can only ride in the Final when they have done a certain amount of the league matches?

I have had a quick check through the results, found all but one. (couldn't find one Coventry result)

The riders who deserve to be in the final by number of MDL league appearances are:-

    Coventry

Mitchell Beckett 8. Aaron Butcher 6. Kyle Roberts 4. Henry Atkins 4.

    Buxton

    Sam Wright 8. Josh Embleton 5. Connor Fletcher 3. William O'Keefe 3.

The riders actually in the final with number of MDL league appearances are:-

    Coventry

Kyle Roberts 4. Henry Atkins 4. Connor Dwyer 1. Jamie Halder has never ridden for Coventry, but rode for Buxton once!

    Buxton

William O'Keefe 3. Ryan Burton 2. Ben Basford and Tom Brennan have never ridden for Buxton at all.

  2.

Joe Lawlor is a Belle Vue MDL rider. Stephen Whitehouse is a Kings Lynn MDL rider. That makes them look like "guests" to me. Whatever happened to Emerson Jones who was signed as a "squad rider / #8" at the start of the season?

A guest is a member of another NL team's 1-7.

Instead of using 2 more guests, Birmingham chose to give track time to two 3.00 MDL riders.

This I already know. My question was what happened to Ritchens and Smith? Are they injured?

  3. Hope they get some decent refs in for this, as a dodgy decision could decide it!

Certainly did last year with gogglegate.

Think this could be a classic final between the two top stand-out teams of the season.

Wouldn't even like to predict the winners of each leg. I think Belle Vue are capable of winning at Wolves, but with Lindgren and Woffy being specialists at the NSS, I think Wolves are equally capable of winning at Belle Vue.

    It's going to be tense.

  4. He's a good lad is Kyle Newman.

British, solid and loyal to his local team. The sport would be better if every club had 3 or 4 local Kyle Newman's in their team instead of some of the foreign dross that clogs up the leagues.

Sure, he's been in the draft too long, but that's not his fault. He doesn't make up the sport's rules (Matt Ford does).

    Well done Kyle
