This referee was not of a sufficient standard to be given the responsibility of refereeing a Speedway Grand Prix. This is an opinion shared by the majority of people I have spoken with regarding the matter.
Well none of the people I spoke to said anything that polite about him!

Guys and Girls....would you rather have the annoying sound effects or no GP on TV at all.....think about it.why should that be the choice?
How about GPs on tv and no annoying bell?

Heat 1: Bridger, Auty, Taylor, Haines (EF) 60.0
Heat 2: Wrathall, Hopwood, Jarvis, Piper (EF) 62.1
(i think)

All refs make bad decisions, but he wasn't even consistent.Thats a bit unfair. He was consistent.....consistently wrong.

We have received an itinery for Saturday and the U15's are scheduled for 05:15pm.Please note the time folks!
Well that's ridiculous. The tickets say the gates don't open until 5.00pm. How many people will be in the stadium to see the kids at that time?
Then I'm told we're being threatened with an hour of some crappy nobody karaoke singers assaulting us with an hour of dreadful Abba 'songs'.
Why can't we have the kids racing at 6.30pm and put the pub singers on earlier before I get in?

Justin Elkins hasn't finished last in a GP race this season.

Am I right in thinking that the heat format is:-
1 2 v 1 2
3 4 v 3 4
1 2 v 1 2
4 5 v 4 5
2 3 v 2 3
1 3 v 1 3
4 5 v 4 5
Nominated.
If so, what a dreadful format. If you look at it, everyone is racing against there opposite number in every single race.
Taylor for Cobras never got to win a race because he was against Auty EVERY race!
Meanwhile Cobra Hopwood gets a maximum by having no real opposition. What is he learning if he isn't allowed to test himself against the better riders?
There's got to be a better format.

Can't stand Abba. They were the epitemy of bad tasteNever mind. At least they're not the epitome of bad spelling.

and get fans up in the isles to "show me the way...He'll have to have a loud voice if he's singing in Wales and they can hear him off the coast of Scotland!

Thank God for that.it wont be Elton John he will be at Goodbye Highfield rd concert in coventry
Now you're just trying to scare us....Shakin' Stevens or G4 ?They should do whatever it takes to get Tony Christie there, but realistically I can't see that they could afford him.
So you can probably expect to see the usual. i.e. an old has been (Suzi Quatro, Tony Hadley etc) or an unfamous nobody (Edwin Star, Javine, those two blues brothers blokes who were plucked out of the crowd etc).
Isn't Gary Glitter back in the country now?

You order these tickets or pay on the door and its £75 for both meetings. The reason they state such a low fee is because they were a 4 ticket deal for £95.So what you're saying is that you're so tight that instead of buying 2 tickets for £75, you've bought 4 for £95 in the hope of offloading two to some sap for £45.
If you offload them, you've only paid £50 for 2, instead of £75
If you cant get rid you've been stung £95 for 2.
Folks, I think we know what to do!!!!!
(makes you wonder why they're doing a deal of "buy 2 get 2 extra for a tenner each" if the place is going to be a sellout).
-
If anyone wants them, the price is £45. Of course you can stand if you so wish. The price to buy direct is £75, so this is a good saving.Hmmm....
Two tickets x £23.75 (as per the scan) = £47.50
So you're offering a whole £1.25 off each ticket. How generous.
But surely with the capacity crowd and tickets in such high demand you should get about £500 each for them on ebay.

Oh my god, Shovvy's seen the light!
He knows how crap the blue Poole track at wimbore road is and now he's selling his tickets!!!
It reminds me of the last time shovvy got fed up with Poole. He vowed never to return and nailed his season ticket to the stadium wall. The next day he was passing the stadium and someone had nicked the nail.
