    Copenhagen GP

That was reported on the GP's official site and was something to do with Joonas not riding at Prague because he had a prior engagement. Mind you, the same site said it wouldnt be Steady because he was injured.... yet he had ridden for workington back from injury!! Don't believe all you read on that site lol.

    How were your seats

With Lanham etc behind you you would have been about 6 or 7 boxes around from me! I reckon their box was better than ours for some reason from when i went in it

    How were your seats

Someone started smoking near us and was swiftly spotted by a steward and asked not to. We were sat in the second tier, on the 4th bend and had a smashing view. I've sat in a few different places at different events in the stadium and to be fair there are no real bad spots (unless someone has put up scaffolding in front of your seat, obviously). I have a feeling you were near me, because we were tier 2 4th bend and some people got told off for smoking. My seats = very nice, i fully reccomend a hospitality box if a) you have more money than sense or you can get a free one because somebody you knows actually owns it for the whole year

    Copenhagen GP

http://www.speedway.org But it may change if there are injuries. Is Holta taking his month off? Will Hampel be fit after his crash in Sweden last night?
  5. Definatly the best one-off track so far. We have given the track guys at these stadiums a bit of stick in the last few years when they rutted up badly or they had disasters (Gothenburg). But Stockholm and now Cardiff have shown they have finally cracked it!! Well done Ole/BSI/Everybody else involved!

    Cardiff 2004

Very true. The wildcards don't distort it too much. We have both wildcards from round 1 riding in the Elite League, we did have Svab from round 2 until a few weeks ago along with Dobrucki. And have Walasek who was wildcard a fortnight ago in wroclaw in our league. Then in Copenhagen we also have two riders going well in the Elite. To be honest i expected us to have the least GP riders when i set out to do those lists! Other interesting thing, Niels Iversen's Swedish Elite Average is over 8 points

Joonas is in theory first reserve and I cant see why he wouldnt be up for it. Same problem for me with flag

    Rune Holta

What a load of carp (not sure if writing it correctly will get me in trouble hehe) that press release from the GP website is. Stating that Kylmakorpi decided not to compete in a previous round. He was riding in a grass/long track meeting on the weekend of Prague. And Simon Stead injured? Must be his twin scoring points for Workington
  12. Top 4: 1) Jason Crump 2) Jarek Hampel 3) Tony R 4) Norris But the real winners will be the fans because it will be such a great occasion... Again! I CANT WAIT
  13. Sudden Sam Ermolenko. Was in todays speedway star. What do you all think?

    Aussie Titles 2004/2005

    Cardiff

Just as long as the pre-meeting entertainment is better than last year It made no atmosphere and people were just ingnoring it lol. How about the giant ants again for the interval

    LOUIS AND NORRIS GO WILD

I don't think anybody is being a 'Louis Basher' as you put it. I think people feel there are more deserving candidates. Coming back the way Chris has is quite amazing and I will also be cheering him, floppy, rico, mark and scotty all the way @ Cardiff.

    World Under 21s - Daugavpils

It's a pathetic system as I have said in the Rawicz thread. In Rawicz my mate Kyle Legault scored 11 points which would have placed him 5th overall but instead does not qualify. In the GP qualifiers last week a guy was unbeaten until the semis and failed to qualify!
  19. From http://www.sportowefakty.pl/ 1. Christian Hafenbrock 12 (3,3,3,2,1 2. Janusz Ko³odziej 12 (1,3,3,3,2) 3. Ivan Vargek 1 (0,0,1,t,0) 4. Denis Gizatullin 11 (2,3,3,3, 5. Final: Miedzinski, Kolodziej, Jablonski, D King Well done Dumps
  20. I can only assume it is because Jamie beat Kyle in heat 9. Seems pretty unfair really cos Kyle got 11 points compared to Jamie's 9 Although it wouldnt really be worth Kyle travelling from Canada to Austria/Sweden to be a reserve! Not very happy with this new system of qualifying though. We had one a few weeks ago where somebody was untouchable in his 5 races then lost the semi and was out!
  21. What does (w) mean in a race? Cos Kyle got a w in his semi Schlein qualified. Smith along with Legault didn't as they were 4th in their semis
  22. Has anybody got any semi results? the polish site hasnt got one and its been a long while
  23. Tom you forgot Miskowiak, so Fencl is out. Oh yeh, didnt spot him COME ON LEGAULTSKI!!!
  24. From the scores on there I think the top 8 going into the semis are: Swiderski Hlib Legault Schlein Smith Suchanek Vida Fencl COME ON LEGAULTSKI (To answer my own question it is top 6)
  25. On http://www.sportowefakty.pl/?dysc_id=4&k1_...7&news_id=35160 we are now just waiting for the semi and finals. Is it the top 6 or 8 which go through?
