That crash last night was sickening . Pleased to hear that the injuries aren't as bad as 1st feared. Get well soon Alex. As for the match, irrelvant because of the crash really. But well done to the lads for winning and special mention for Jade for continuing after also having an awful crash in front of myself on the backstraight...half a lap before Alex's.

Couple of good races otherwise gate and go and pretty boring to be honest. It's been decided that I'm driving next year so I can avoid the welsh open and go and see the Bandits (whether seedef likes it or not! ) . Was a pleasure to meet BigfatDave though .

Good meeting last night with some great racing in particular when either Fisher or Complin were out who were a joy to watch and Complin was eventually a deserved winner. Special mention to the young Dane Porsing and the young Pole Miturski who both impressed me in particular Porsing who was nearly past Lyons only to fall, both look good for the future if they decide to race over here

First of all well done to Kenni Larsen on a deserved win, quick from the gate every time and looked very quick all afternoon. Bach, Fisher, Auty and Complin were great to watch, with some of Auty's passes being quite superb, Sheffield fans are clearly spoilt watching him do that every week! Rye House lads were a bit disappointing though, I thought both Sundstrom and Frampton would be up there, but it wasn't to be. On Complin, to me he was struggling for speed in his first 2 rides but after that he was much quicker and rode a brilliant race to beat Bach and Poole (who surprised me at how well he did). I hope the PLRC is back at Sheffield again next season

I think he has a chance too. I think he will at least make the semis, as you said hes in great form and is capable of beating anyone at the minute. Go Lee go!

Thank god it's not a 3rd Newcastle rider in it, would have been unbearable . Frampton did ok last year when he really should of qualified for the semis after a poor last 2 rides, hes just coming back from injury but I can only see him as being a spoiler this time. Correct decision to have Frampton in though

Yes it is , for me anyway Having said that Lemon probably does deserve to be in it next.

My bet is that Ashworth gets the nod...and wins it Lemon should get in, but having 3 Newcastle riders is beyond a joke!

Well for certain Adrian won't be there . So for Berwick it will be either Makovsky or Complin I would imagine.

Nothing really went right for Berwick, with Lee appearing to have bike problems and Clewsy having a bad smash (which was caused by a rut that I could even see from where I was standing!). Never mind, always next time. Anyway, congratulations to the Brummies who were excellent from start to finish and deserved the win . Track was tricky to start with for the semis but there was some cracking racing in the final and the 4s must come back here next year once again, as I enjoyed my visit to Peterbrough .

No one is , we will cause a huge upset . We have the riders to do it, it's just a case if they hit form on the same day, but I think we will make the final, hopefully knock Newcastle out in the process, then we can do it Really looking forward to this now

Pleasant surprise that we are in the 4s, Complin should be a joy to watch round there, looking forward to it already. Only problem, I'm going down on coach with Newcastle fans, so please can we beat them for my sake on the way home!

Really enjoyed my 1st meeting at Newport yesterday. Some really good heats and it was much better than what I thought it was going to be

Will be coming to this one. My 1st ever visit to Newport

Will be coming down for this, my only 2nd visit to Somerset and really looking forward to this. Can see this being between Newcastle, Birmingham nd Somerset for this but I'm just hoping for some superb racing as usual .

I hope we don't. Will make the night more enjoyable rather than us being a laughing stock once again

Unbelievably yes , just though. Hopefully cut off is after Glasgow match to give us a bit more time!

I'm pretty sure at the moment, Stoke, Newport and Workington and either Berwick or Sheffield will miss out.

Great line up for Michal, shame about Greives and Fisher having to pull but it's still a brilliant line up that has been put together. Heres hoping for a excellent night, it's exactly what Michal deserves for what he has done for the club .
