Pray please tell ...... why did Glasgow not want to come to Workington on the 21st. Owt to do with Messer's Harris and Worrell not being available to ride? Makes ya think!!!

If we re arranged a fixture for the 28 April, was it not on here or some other forums that Nicolai Klindt would be riding in a qualifying meeting for something or another. If this is the case, will we be allowed a guest or will it have to be a N L rider. IMHO ... tell them to go forth and multiply.

Why not put them in traps, just like greyhounds. Then no need for tapes, therefore no false starts!!!! For the more serious amongst you out there .................... I JEST!!!!!

This rule was introduced for those riders who didn’t double-up last season and was seen as the first step towards reducing doubling-up in the sport.Unfortunately, and regrettably, Scott Nicholls and Edward Kennett – two fine servants of British Speedway – were caught up in this. Says it all really. They didn't double up last season as some riders, like Cook, Harris etc did. It seems a fair rule to me and does NOT prejudice Nicholls and Kennet in any way.

Nowt to fret about with that signing.

We at the Comet's didn't know we were running till middle of November but Laura (bless her) managed to get a team sorted. So what's your problem?

As far as I can see, only TWO clubs do not have their No. 1's named. Peterborough and Newcastle, so of course you'll both want the rule to change and bugg*r the other Nine other clubs who may have wanted to sign Scott Nicholls. I for one hope it stays the same with NO rule change to penalise the clubs who have full team and serves you right for hanging on !!!!

Of course the rule will be changed!! When the Worlocks of speedway get together and have a back scratching session, things will move in the right direction. Bugg*r the rest of the clubs that MIGHT have had Nicholls in their plans, to be told he's not allowed in our league ............ then low and behold, he might be able to!!!

Plus their brother ... Chance.

Can someone with greater knowledge than me please confirm. If we have/do sign Kyle Bickley, am I right in thinking we can't announce his signing till he's 16?

And we ALL knew which rider would be staying. Thought Matt was treat in an abysmal manner, no phone call or any other communication it would appear .... aka Adam Roynon!

2 to 7 I'm fairly happy with that but, Kyle Howarth @ 1 not sure at all. He has to many toys in the pram, that could be thrown at any time!!!

I wonder who will be Bach {it couldn't could it?}, could it be Ty, what about young Kyle, who's the last reserve? Answers would be nice before that bearded old bugger comes.

Well, we're still waiting for the rest of the team. Can see us not going for a out & out no.1 but going for strength in depth. Not to amoured by the mention of Lykke in a suggested team, rather have Matt back at reserve.

Would think jenga's thinking might be, with Proctor & bickley both possibles. That leaves the 2 remaining spots. Hope Matt Willy is one of them. Have a feeling one of the remaining riders will be another European.

Ah well another Dane. Hope he doesn't get injured towards the end of the season, like the rest of them.

I can see why Craig won't rid in the championship. He would I think want to ride against world class riders week in week out. Good luck to the lad, hope he does himself proud.

Lack of news/information is as rare as rocking horse sh*t. We might get something by Christmas if we're lucky but don't hold your breath.
