Looking forward to my first trip to Bandit country, also looking forward to meeting me mate James Black.
Don't know about giving them a beating but think we'll take the points.

Looking like another inept away performance by the mighty C. Only 1 heat winner ... and he's the guest, for god sake!!
-
Well we were lucky we won . A number one that need not have been there we will have to do better if we want to get anywhere
You obviously engaged mouth before brain was in gear.
Kenneth was injured in his second ride and unable to continue.
As said by another poster, KKH, was scintillatig last night and I bet you were pleased he turned up.

wouldn't take Rustys advice if a track is raceable or not if a track is in even in slightest bit wet he doesn't want to know about it.
Just as the rest of the speedway world dismiss the drivel and chit you spout on these forums. Right decision made by a class rider, top referee and a team manager who knows the game.

Just hope Rene has thick skin, welcome back Rene. Just don't turn your bach on this lot, or the knife will be in to you.
I sincerely hope we don't sign Kyle Howarth, waste of space except at Coventry!!

Get Rusty Harrison then, he only lives 800yds from the track!! That'll cut down on travel expenses.

Kyle's mood was very down beat at the end of season do. Personally I feel a season away will do him good.

Depends on which riders turn up, the disinterested ones, or, the we'll give it a go bunch! To be honest don't know whether I Can be arsed to move from in front of Tele.

No, that ship sailed long ago, dont get many posters on here thesedays to voice an opinion one way or the other so, your probably right?
Still have a fortnight to go after the Berwick matches so should have a couple of Saturday's going free, the problem will be finding one to suit Edinburgh, you guys have some fixtures to fit in?
Could have argued the case to make this weekend's match another dble header and saved a few headaches into the bargain, not the best of options for sure but as you say, how many will turn up for a match that means nothing to either side, dare say it wont be good, a lot of fans have lost a lot of interest?
And so have the riders!!

Dreadful display by the Comets!!!!
Play offs...... not a cat in hells chance.
-
Is that the high scoring Bach that's so far scored a second and third? Although he did just win a heat
And Howarth has scored jack chit!!!!
-
Comets have lots to worry about!! What's the thinking putting Kyle at 5, get Rene back there for God's sake.
The WC needs flushing down the pan. WC = Wells & Campton, lost us more points, than they've scored.

In the immortal words of Capt. Mainwaring ....... " YOU STUPID BOY" Get him out of speedway!!!
-
If it's owt like all previous Sheffield meeting ..... "from the gate" Boring!!!!

Ricky Wells, looks like he's at the bottom of the well. Somebody please give him a bucket, to get out of that hole. Could have cost us the 4`s title.

The St John's ambulance (which is privately hired) was still at Whitehaven A&E at 9:30pm, it's on my way home so I checked, so would never had made it back to the track in time for the 10pm curfew. Now imagine the promotion made the decision to 'wait and see' if the ambulance got back in time and had to call it off over an hour later (approx 100 mins waiting time) there would have been a riot!!! The correct decision was made.
As for having 2 ambulances - well that's fair enough in big cities such as Newcastle and Plymouth where there is competition for business from many providers etc. In West Cumbria you can count the providers on one hand, ones that cater for motorsport, probably less. Getting another crew in just doesn't make economic sense, in an ideal world every track would have two ambulances and crowds of 2000!
Best wishes to Kyle and bring on the rematch
Even LITTLE cites, like Edinburgh, have lots of ambulances!!!
