    Glasgow 2019 Onwards

i have always been a huge fan of what the promotion has done at Glasgow,i fine job indeed, they have always been rumoured to be be the strongest payers in the the league and will pay what they need to pay and more to get the 7 riders they want that i always respect and have no problem with, its good always a strong team and is one fixture i always look for at the start of the season, another good thing but.....to turn around and say they need to look at at operational cost well that seems to be of their own making, and only they can address it
  2. im suprised he didnt put more on his 2018 start average if ive read it correctly from BSPA site he put 0.26 on over the season, i was sure it would alot higher than that after what i saw of him

    AGM November 2018

you mention clubs reducing cost yet then seem to suggest a pay structure that would increase cost there are very few riders in the Championship of £80/point now sadly that level of payment would take 50% of the clubs out the league and bust the rest within 6 months its basic ecconomics

    Scunthorpe 2019

could you point out how he was treated badly?
  7. Bloody harsh on Glasgow being classed as under performers 2nd in the league and very competative in the play offs is classed as under performing How speedway has changed
  8. Rider of the Year---has to be Josh Auty 1.46 pts on his starting average is outstanding Most impressive team - Workington class all year [special mention for P`Boro too] Team rider of the season - not a clue One to watch - Jake Allen Bulldog award (Best British rider) - Dan Bewley Meeting of the season - Scunthorpe v Sheffield [20/4/18] Surprise of the season - Berwick Underperformers (Team) - Ipswich really fancied them this year Unluckiest rider - Dan Bewley Newcomer of the season---Drew Kemp

    Workington 2018 .

Huge Congratulations to the Comets,to win one piece of Silverware in this league is a tough ask,two win 3 is a hell of a performance i can remember thinking when the team was released earlier in the year that the 7 riders selected would take some beating but never thought it would dominate like it has a huge and well deserved Treble!!

Worky v scunny koc leg 2

There are many who think you need sorting out in a house... A nut house at that

    Scunthorpe 2019

Harsh yes.. Sadly factually correct 5o be fair think his injuries caused more problems than he or the club thought they would The lad need to sit down over the winter.. And see if he really thinks he can make a rider after his awfull injurys last season

Worky v scunny koc leg 2

Congratulations to Workington.. A fine display from them and deserved winners over the two legs I'd always try and give credit to the winning team rather than pick fault with the loosing team but that was an inept performance from the Scunthorpe seven But take nothing away from Workington.. A deserved victory indeed

Worky v scunny koc leg 2

That's no way to speak about your guest
  15. to be fair Lakeside were as good as done looking at the score but on the flip side one could argue it is not the panthers fault that Lakeside cant get a meeting done,,,, sadly a no win situation
  16. Another super meeting and a big crowd to watch it,good eoofrt from both sets of riders and maybe the score flatters Scunny a little as the racing was very close 18pts should be enough but Worky are a fine team at home and is set up nicely for the return leg, should also give the comets healthy crowd with everything to play for great advert for the sport in General
  17. To be fair to Klindt he got stuffed twice which as good as finished two of his races
  18. because the owner of Scunthorpe is vice-chairman of the BSPA and according the this forum this gives us the right to do what we like when it comes to team selections and guests last i heard actaully next year we will be building to 57 point average where as the rest will have 36 points a 6 riders
  19. therefore de valueing the product further when you cant get a suitable guest? sadly the nature of speedway is you will need guest riders at some point throughout the season and its is up to teams to get the strongest guest they can as the nature of the game is to win i cant see an alternative, although is seems wrong as you pointed out its is also right that Scunny[in this instance] have the best best guest to replace someone who, around the EWR is actaully unreplaceable ...Auty
  20. Edinburgh is hardly slick.... To be fair you don't get to an 8plus average just liking slick tracks... Wells is a good rider.. Very professional to Alot could learn alot from him actually

therefore it is ones choice to enter the stadium when the weather is a bit iffy

    Scunthorpe 2019
