Riders have been sent away and told to reconvene at 5pm (4pm BST) for a briefing. If it doesn't go ahead today they (I presume they means the FIM and the Gorican Club) are talking of running tomorrow at 9am. Rain never eased all night and is currently heavier than yesterday. Oddly enough, it's the first rain-off in 29 meetings.

Meeting Abandoned after 12 heats. Poured down with rain. God knows who qualifies but Nicholls and Frampton finished on 9, Allen on 7, Wright and Tully on 6 so they should be certs. King, Barker, Robson and Hall all finished on 5 which makes the top 9. Woffinden and Ashworth will miss out as they finished on 4.
