If that is the team then surely it doesn't make any sense why there was all the fuss of signing Kus as an asset last season?
  2. diamond_ren

    Newcastle 2017

That team wouldn't fit? So do any riders get reductions for it too fit?

    Official Teams For 2017

I think you're wrong here? He's only rode the PL a couple of seasons. Was it 2014 or 2015 he missed a large chunk of it when he crashed at Sheffield I think?

    Berwick 2017 50th Year

I didn't know that thanks. What about that Dane who is in the SS? Mikkel B Andersen brother of JBA at redcar. He'd become a new asset.

    Ty Proctor 6.68?

Good luck to the lad hope it goes well. I think everyone could see watching Lambert during the season realised we just had to enjoy him for this season.

    Peterborough Panthers 2017

How long has Kurtz been around the 4-6.00 point average mark he's barely improved all the seasons he's rode here imo

    Newcastle 2017

I'm quite torn whether to keep Phillips or not he's had a season under his belt now so you'd hope he could improve with the experience. If we did go down another rider how about Tom Bacon or Luke Chessell wouldn't mind taking a punt on either of those

    Redcar 2017

Good point haha oops totally forgot about that
  10. diamond_ren

    Redcar 2017

I knew his average was above 2 but below 3 and didn't know how to work it out. They haven't been so clearing with the wording in the statements have the BSPA

    Redcar 2017

    1) D Bellego 7.63 2) T Kurtz 5.76 3) H Skidmore 6.84 4) JBA 6.30 5) NBJ 6.50 6) T Busch 4.66 7) L Payne 2.00 This wouldn't be the worst team around and you'd always have a strong reserve

    Newcastle 2017

You'd imagine we will be seeing both Lindgren & Kus next season saying they are assets. It says in the SS Stevie wants to come back too if we were to go with those 3 we would potentially be weak at reserve. I'd like to see Morris back he done well with the impossible task of replacing Rose... and speaking of Rose I'd like him back too but with those two it would only leave 5.10 for the reserves. 1) S Worrall 8.47 2) A Morris 4.98 3) M Kus 7.64 4) L Rose 6.12 5) L Lindgren 7.69 6) 7)

    Plymouth 2017

Is it Adam Allott goibg by your post? Or is that just me putting 2 & 2 together?

    Confirmed Signings For 2017

My mistake! They've put the final averages on for the PL now so shouldn't be too long with the NL ones.

    Newcastle 2017

I'd be trying to get Lewis Kerr back especially on a 5.98 average he'd make a mockery of that. Although wasn't one of the reasons he never returned last time was to cut down on his traveling to home meetings?
  16. diamond_ren

    Redcar 2017

If Busch wants to come back and Redcar play there cards right they could slot him in at reserve.
  17. diamond_ren

    Sheffield 2017

I don't think he's went backwards as you suggest I think the main reason he had a poor year was because he was coming back from a massive injury last season and then there was the public falling out at Redcar where I don't think he was overly happy most of the season. He's a steal on his current average can easily see him getting back to 8+ average next season

    Confirmed Signings For 2017

Yeah don't quite understand myself but I take it there the final averages

    Confirmed Signings For 2017

Think there on the bspa website now you just need to look at the last ones they published and there on there
  20. diamond_ren

    Redcar 2017

You'd imagine both Skidmore & JBA will be nailed on to return
  21. diamond_ren

    Sheffield 2017

I think there is so much confusion over this rule at the moment. Chris Louis thinks all newcomers will be on 2 point averages next season. But the way the press release read from the BSPA it was only riders like Josh Bailey, Danny Phillips, Nathan Greaves who would come in on an average of under 3 and all other newcomers would be a 3 having had no previous PL experience. So typical speedway really the rules seem as clear as mud

That's true but if some clubs want to include your cook, masters, king, kennett then they will so there not really saving money are they? Clubs should only offer riders what they can afford not paying out money they haven't got or can't afford if a rider doesn't want to accept that then that would be the riders problem instead of weakening the product even further. So in effect riders like lasse bjerre etc who are on attractive averages could demand more money because they'll be more sought after so clubs might not save money at all. But we will have to wait and see personally I can't see that weakening the product will bring the crowds flocking back! They've just basically done what they did with the elite league when the same teams visit 2/3 or more times a season.

    Newcastle 2017

Newman has had the same average for 2/3 seasons now can't really see much more improvement in him personally. He looks a different rider for Poole than he did for Plymouth
  24. diamond_ren

    Newcastle 2017

Can't really understand why so many people seem to be including or wanting Newman back don't think he's improved much in the premier league and imo there are better alternatives on similar averages

    Your Team For 2017

How will lowering the points limit save money? If that's what's rumored to be happening.... Surely clubs should only be paying what they can afford. If the riders don't want to accept that then so be it
