    Peterborough Panthers 2023

Do you blame Buster for not turning up ? He's been publicly slagged off repeatedly by a " consortium member" and others who have basically whipped up a public hate campaign against him, turning everything negative that has happened into busters fault. The term " witch hunt" springs to mind.I wouldn't have gone either if it was me

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Word on the terraces was that he had asked for an extra £20 a point, lynn said no , Leicester said yes

Kings Lynn v Ipswich 4th September

Don't know, I was there but wasn't near the pits or medical staff,I was merely answering another question with the information available to me

Kings Lynn v Ipswich 4th September

He was withdrawn with an injury so was unable to take his 3rd ride,if however he had taken his 3rd ride he would have scored 1 point as Robert Lambert had engine failure in that race

Kings Lynn v Ipswich 4th September

If Robert hadn't had 2 engine failures late on, ippo would have lost tonight

    Kings Lynn 2023

I think that's right. Kings lynn could have used morris at kings lynn due to the 5pc uplift for home riders but it was decided to keep the same riders home and away to maintain integrity .Ellis had a mare for lynn and we lost

    King's Lynn v Ippo 17/08/23

Shme but no surprise, with 2 out injured and possibly tofty too.
  8. Not keen on him after he guested for lynn in the play off final, sulked cos he couldn't ride for Poole, got excluded twice and was rubbish( something like that) Gating tart, roller etc

True, I forgot about him .hope he doesn't turn out to be another in the mould of kasper andersson

Unfortunately, the spoon was almost definitely coming to lynn when they lost at home to Peterborough. Hopefully this years team sheet will be ripped up, burnt, and buried at sea.If we have to suffer another season of " premiership " speedway , the only riders worthy of a place in my opinion are Klindt and Rowe. I'm off to get my tin hat and await the flak
  11. Belle vue is the national speedway stadium ,and the best track in the country ,so the final is probably in the right place Sadly the sport has evolved in such a way that lightweight riders benefit more, unlike" back in the day" when riders built like briggo were world champions , there's not much we can do about that. If the British final could be run on a Saturday night so more fans could travel I'm sure it would be better attended . As for u21 winner,I think the reward should be a place in the British final, with a total of maybe 8 seeded and the rest from semi finals,to give more riders a chance of pulling off a shock

    Spot on. Birmingham perhaps?

World Cup - Wroclaw July 2023

I think you are right, and the crowd levels at the semis and race off would suggest the same

    Survival of The Premiership?

I think that " back in the day " the no1's only met once, in heat one, and apart from 1and 3 or 2 and 4 there was no restriction on gate position, so nearly always picked the best gate .This made quite a difference to averages too

    Peterborough Panthers 2023

Course he is.Polish extraliga rider on a 5 average, same as Fred was , but Fred didn't work out,but that's not the point. Emil Breum has been signed as an asset to replace Kye Thomson who through no fault of his own is struggling in the main body of the team averaging 3ish and comes with a loan fee!

Shame your rich but apparently tight fisted sponsor didn't see fit to pay out for a no1 then isnt it. Laguta was brought in by Alex Brady before he left. You got a 5pt Tarasenko( basically a ringer but that happens everywhere) , yours worked out, fred Ericsson didn't,and now lynn have signed a youngster with a view to the future.

Do riders not get start money and points money anymore?

    No justification for what?

    Peterborough Panthers 2023

Add to the fact if Buster signed a new rider for the Panthers, any potential new owner probably wouldn't want to pay for their contract anyway !

    King's Lynn v Leicester 20/07/23

You could well be right, but for what its worth i think the racing was as close or closer than most meetings and so was the result .Lamberts first 4 races he didn't ride very well and went too wide letting others pass, but Anders Rowe looked sharp early on and Kye Thompson looked more on the pace as well. The biggest let down in my opinion wasn't the track it was Thomas Jorgensen, and his score was probably the biggest single contributing factor to us losing last night, that and NK nearly being fenced, but I won't go on about that

    King's Lynn v Leicester 20/07/23

Yes he did.You could see him lining his victim up half a lap before. He is one rider I would have loved to see do a season as a star.

Sorry for nearly ramming your back wheel!
  23. castrolargh

    King's Lynn v Leicester 20/07/23

I think not having that outside line was a blessing to be honest.Usually once the dirt is out wide thats it,flat out round the boards and no other line to use.Whoever gets to the fence first is away and gone. Speaking of fences, Mr Fricke gave Nk a pretty close look at it! I would have put that move on the dirty side of hard racing.
