looking on the bright side of this fixture rubbish , or lack of them . looks like it could be the end of full time riders in the uk !  they may have to get a full time job and do speedway part time again , like back in the 70s .the best days ever for the sport in the uk .

If brand new tyres weren’t lasting 4 laps, what makes you think used tyres would?

thats something we will never know because the riders never got a chance to use them , hence many p  off fans

will they be @ p,boro for the next meeting . l never mind next season ,

Unless I am reading it wrong, they should have used the tyres on their spare bikes, which according to the regs should be used in an emergency

so there should have been 14 used tyres from the meetings that both teams used in another meeting , therefore those tyres could ,should have been used to allow the meeting to carry on like sorry if its been  mentioned  before .

last one out put the lights off and throw away the keys .  save everyone a good bit of cash ..

Just seen the line-up  for the CLRC:

    1 Michael Palm Toft (Plymouth)
    2 Leon Flint (Berwick)
    3 Lewis Kerr (Redcar)
    4 Ryan Douglas (Scunthorpe)
    5 Nick Morris (Leicester)
    6 Danny King (Poole)
    7 Chris Harris (Berwick)
    8 Richard Lawson (Poole)
    9 Scott Nicholls (Oxford)
    10 Justin Sedgmen (Birmingham)
    11 Charles Wright (Redcar)
    12 Sam Masters (Edinburgh)
    13 Troy Batchelor (Oxford)
    14 Craig Cook (Glasgow)
    15 Josh Pickering (Edinburgh)
    16 Kyle Howarth (Leicester)

As a Glasgow fan I can't believe we have only one rider listed.

It cant be on averages as there are several riders from various teams who have higher averages who are omitted too.

Tom Brennan, Ben Basso and Uli Oostergaard are all worthy of a place so unless they have been declared unfit you have to wonder why and with Glagow at Plymouth the previous evening there are bound to be some die-hard Tigers fans around.

Perhaps they don't want them getting more laps at Poole with the play-offs coming up?

and it looks like workington have four . that cant be right cannit ? come on , give the glasgow fans something to cheer about .  ,. put all the tigers riders in this meeting .

    From the Leicester website, yesterday:

LEICESTER: Richard Lawson, Connor Mountain, Richie Worrall, Dan Thompson, Kyle Howarth, Max Clegg, Joe Thompson.
BERWICK: Chris Harris, Theo Pijper, Jye Etheridge, Ricky Wells, Leon Flint, Jonas Knudsen, Nathan Stoneman.

So it looks like Knudsen will be riding after all

err , how can you ride with no visa . or is it sorted out ? just saying lyke .

The riders will bring about the sports downfall via track closures if they are too cash greedy - then they'll have no one to pay them anyway.

and they cant see what they are doing to the sport and themselves   junior riders are the best entertainment because you dont know what they are going to do next . i can  see good support for the new venture and will support it when its on .

looking forward to going to the field of dreams ..

Heat one Craig Cook passed Kemp.

Heat 3, King passed Basso back straight then lined up and blasted around Ostergaard.

Heat 5 Zack Cook passed CC on bend 4 for CC to re pass next lap.

Heat 6 DREW Kemp passed Brennan lap two bend 4.

Heat 7 Basso passed B Cook

Heat 9 CC passed Zack Cook lap 2.

Heat 10 Basso passed Drew Kemp lap 2

Heat 15 CC passed Steve Worrall lap 3.

No, there wasn’t any passing! ;)

What we have learned tonight is that Glasgow won’t want to draw Poole in the semi finals.

just a reminder for those with tinted glasses on .( keep tight hold of that white stick , you may need it later on in life ) or maybe even now .
