A manager is only as good as what he is given to work with.............until we have world class riders again whoever is manager is looking for a slating...................if you have read what Middlo has put on facebook today you will see what he would like to see happen but until the powers that be get their heads out of their backsides it ain't gonna happen................. Although normally diagnosed in childhood it is not uncommon for it to be diagnosed as an adult.............and it is not as such an illness...........more of what is defined as an invisible disability................and having one of those myself and a son with one as well I sort of understand what its all about............ I genuinely wish Antonio well and hope he gets back to his best soon.............. RP

A safety fence only works effectively if it is fitted properly.............you only have to look at the Ryan Fisher incident at Peterborough last year to see what the effects of an incorrectly fitted one are............... RP

To be honest Worrall is fine scoring points at reserve for Kings Lynn however at international level I think not........may be in a year or so's time..........personal thoughts are only use Bomber if Tai is not fit and then add in Cook, King and Auty or Barker.............. RP

Said as much on Facebook too.............I am saddened by all the negativity I have seen about this weekends matches...........it may not have been a good weekend for the Tigers but draw a line under it............make the changes that are clearly needed and above all get behind the team............the promotion say it is your team...........if you don't get behind them and support them rather than criticise them you could end up with no team to support............. RP

Not wishing to provoke a storm or anything but surely it is time to consider a squad system..........it would do away with the need for guests and r/r and probably doubling up/down too...........doubling up/down should be restricted to being at reserve only anyway.............I think it would work in the Elite League.........may be not so much the lower leagues and it might encourage more GP riders and other good European riders not at GP level to compete over here...........would also be a chance for British youngsters to have a better chance of EL experience................ Just my view............ RP

Well done to Tai on winning but I was most impressed with Cook and Garrity..............Kennett does what Kennett always does............throws it away when it matters............... RP

Apparently Darren Hartley was sent down to inspect at one point but when that was it is unclear..........from what I can gather it was after it had been called off.................... RP

Factually incorrect.................He has not made every penny he has out of speedway...........he was a successful businessman before he took on the club.......................and he spends more time doing what all promoters out there should be doing.........promoting the club to the public.............I can honestly say that in 36 years of following Poole we are currently in the clubs most successful period and in this current climate that is something to be proud of even if we are making a loss.............. Not necessarily..............in the current economic climate no business is safe.............it does not matter who the is promoter and if you read into the info deeper it states they lost some sponsorship which would have contributed to business income then they are not going to make a profit...........sadly we are going to see a decline in sponsorship for teams and riders as businesses struggle to survive................. Also people like myself have to pick and choose which matches we go to because of costs......... RP

OK so why was Horwood's rejection over turned as quickly as it was rejected.............. RP

Something else is that promoters do not know how to promote.............with a few exceptions they don't get out in the community and do what they are supposed to be doing and just expect the crowds to flock in............Get themselves out in to the schools and other organisations where they are likely to start building a fan base..........when my daughter was about 10 they had Leigh Adams, Mark Loram and Emil Lindqvist visit the school and talk to them about speedway and let them look at and sit on the bikes............Why can't promoters see what opportunities there are out there to promote themselves............luckily here we have very good press coverage............including radio and TV........... That and the current financial climate which leaves many of us in a position where we cannot afford to go every week meaning that crowds are down................incentives like lower admission fees or not charging for the programme or lower costing food and drink on site could try and bring the crowds back............... Will the crowds increase if we lose Sky coverage????????? Will armchair fans want the real deal???????? Who knows but we need to do something before our beloved sport dies in front of our eyes............ RP

No.........there are other sports I watch on there.............not football though........... RP

Unless like Cameron Heaps you have British family connections................others Aussies have done it to like Jay Herne when Bournemouth ran a few years back............... RP

Madsen is a bloody good rider..............did ok for us a couple of seasons ago and has come on in leaps and bounds since............... RP
