Some interesting ones there. Out of those I would consider Bellego and Vissing. Don't really know the situation with Josh Grajczonek. Is Bradley Wilson Dean still injured? I feel that any young Danish rider could be a gamble. Would they come in on a 7 point average? You could find a gem, but you could also bring a young rider into a struggling team and ruin his confidence.  Milik and Lahti strike me as being out of Berwick's pay scale? How many of the Polish meetings would clash with Berwick's (genuine question because I have no idea when Polish teams ride). Do you remember Ludvig Lindgren's last meeting at Berwick?

I don't think Danny Phillips or any other two pointers would score many, if any, points in the Championship. There's a big gap between National League and Championship.

What about Batchelor? UK based and not riding abroad.

Poor Leon was battered and bruised from last nights fall at Armadale which explains his performance tonight. As for the rest of them, no excuse, Dany excepted.
Weathers drops a couple of points from 6 rides with Newcastle last week, scores 3 tonight. Go figure.
Etheridge is becoming a major problem. Wasn’t scoring at 3 and well out of his depth at 1.

Virtually guaranteed an away 1-5 in heats 13 & 15

If you’re thinking of putting a side like this out next season then don’t bother. Just close the club down or drop down a league.

Etheridge been going fairly well for BV and utter dross for Berwick. Summers should be gone tonight.

Totally agree with your last paragraph. Nobody expects the club to be bankrupted attempting to win the league but whats actually the point in putting a team like this out year after year.

Shame that the rest of the team isn’t up to scratch as you’ve effectively got a number 1 at reserve at the moment.

Are you not aware that nothing negative said against the Berwick team or club will not be tolerated on these threads by the resident happy clappers. I’m sure you will be called out accordingly for your sins on the clubs dirt extra column next week by the select few invited on there to brown nose :D

  4. Another value for money stream this evening. Was a good match just a shame Kennett and Newman were shambolic for Eastbourne. Brennan once again showing what a top talent he is with some good rides. Jensen brilliant for the Tigers. I really hope Glasgow keep this streaming service going long term because its a fantastic race track and I love the effort the promotion have put into the club and they really want to win which for me in sport is so important.

I don't really understand why it's anyone's business what the capacity is. It's a very good tactic to keep it close to your chest to drive sales.

And I certainly don't see it as arrogant to state something so obvious.

Why is it such a small traffic forum feels they should be addressed personally by the clubs?

Unfortunately you’ve missed the point. Nobody feels they should be personally addressed by the club. The club or representatives of the club felt the need to state they wouldn't engage with fans through any means other than official ones.

Absolutely shocking that they havn’t replaced Garcia yet

Ultimately the only ambition is to win the home matches, away is completely irrelevant. I think they’ve gambled that with Flint at reserve if everyone else goes ok they would win the home matches and not have to bother replacing Garcia. Not turned out a very good gamble tbh.

Well done to Bears, best Team won.Charles Wright masterclass on how to ride the 4th bend.Hope he is Ok after his fall after end of last heat. There is not lot that can be said regarding Berwick top 4,when Jordan Jenkins can show them how it’s done on their home track.(He is an up and coming talent though).

Unfortunately (whether certain people believe it or not) this is a poor side. Built to a very clear budget with 1 main aim (you assume) of winning the home matches. You wonder how long the crowd will hold out watching the ineptness of that 4 for much longer. I do wonder if changes may be looked at shortly. NBJ, Summers and Gappmaier could have no real complaints imo if they got the boot.

Leicester, full explanation of how good they are, logical and understood reasons, same with Poole, look at how rich these teams are, look at how much better these teams are...Plymouth errr ehmm.... errr.... just ignore that it is widely accepted they are pretty sh it, nothing to see here.

Can't wait to read his column next week and see what the excuses were for this evenings home defeat after his little statement below

+ SPOILER ALERT + Most speedway meetings are won by the home team. Always have been, probably always will be – indeed that very likelihood can be calculated mathematically using the Jeffrey Divergence model as favoured by Marek and Vavra.

In any other league Chris’s star would still be shining but in the best league in the world the loss of a few fractions of a seconds is the difference between a top scorer and an also ran.

when interviewed we hear about setups etc, but the crew can tweak it as they like but it’s down to rider reactions and Chris can’t get back to where he was. Must be extremely frustrating for him and others having similar issues, as young riders battle in front of him.

Would be a great asset to league one, Sweden and GB next season where he is still very popular. Would have him back at Poole in a heartbeat.

Agreed. Always seems to be the bike or the track or someone else’s fault these days. Shame we dont see the CH of years gone by who just went out raced his bike and his ability shone through. In my opinion never 100% been the same rider since Darcy’s injury and his own at Coventry.
