The weather put me and my family off attending, sounds like they did well getting it on. Predicted 52-38 so pretty much spot on, some concerns but I guess for some of the bees riders they've had little or no track time. Harris for example tried a new frame which he didn't get to terms with so switched bikes and won his final heat. Halder score was very good.

To be fair I predicted we would lose 52-38 v Birmingham so that was pretty much spot on, not many will get close to them at Perry Barr. Dry day tomorrow up in Manchester, all set for a decent meeting. We need a guest for Connor Mountain, he's riding for Ipswich tomorrow.
-
Ticket booked now for Friday. I think Bees can take something away from the meeting, hopefully a win.
-
It's been fairly dry in Coventry for the last couple of hours. I did decide this morning not to go as the forecast seemed it was going to be right but slightly tempted to nip over now.
-
They didn't own it. They are a bank they lend money.
-
But Sandhu did (or someone closely connected) owed the bank money. If Sandhu or anyone else was owner of Coventry Bees the stadium would've still have been sold by Natwest as they wanted funds for whatever reason.
-
The forecast is much better so looks like I will be making the trip up. Love the NSS.
-
The bank sold Brandon. We would've been in exactly the same position whoever was promoter of Coventry Speedway. However Sandhu was obviously at the time a great threat to others due to his wealth.
-
We wouldn't.
-
Forecast certainly isn't the best at this stage.
-
How long before the meeting is the ticket office open to buy a ticket? I was going to pre book but with dodgy weather around I've decided to wait till the day.
-
The daytime bank holiday fixture v Coventry in 2016 was probably one of the best league meetings I've ever seen Hoping to get to this on Friday, just hoping the weather behaves.

I'm quite new to NL speedway but here is my prediction. Birmingham Mildenhall Eastbourne Kent Coventry Belle Vue Stoke IOW Plymouth Buxton

A GP rider is surely any rider that competed in the GPs last year (wildcards excluded). Reserves were given a number and could have qualified for 2018 if they managed to get enough points. Kildemand was competing for position.

Ned Payne from the Echo.

Personal issues.

They have.
-
Why the need to change? Something must've gone on during the winter.
-
Just about to post the same, surely it's a good place to whack a bit of sponsorship on considering fans (and tv) will look at it!
-
Good and quick move from the club.
-
Id take Knight or Mountain. I was impressed with Knight a few years back when he rode at Brandon. Not seen Mountain live but fans seem to like him. It would be a huge shame if we had to make more than one change. Mountain would be my guess.

It seems Coventry Bees will be searching for a new number one, Glasgow announced Jack Parkinson-Blackburn is taking a break from the sport.

Charity Shield 1st Leg 19/03/18 - Belle Vue v Swindon
Woz01 replied to ReadingRacer2017's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think Belle Vue should be too strong for Swindon tonight but as it's the opening meeting of the season I'll go for a 10-12pt Belle Vue win. -
This chant will have away clubs and fans shaking in their boots. What's wrong with air horns? Speedway is a motorsport after all.

Same here. I honestly expected a few hundred at most, it really is a staggering number.
