I dont think its supposed to be the actual British team. The team reflects a strong EL side which will give your side a decent test.

Im convinced Tai will do well on the temporary tracks like Cardiff and Copenhagen it will just depend on the bigger tracks, i hope the new engine tuner will help with that though.

Im not going to do a prediction as i dont know much about the NL but i m looking forward to watching the Storms first ever meeting.

No club should charge for u11's i think thats a disgrace! I would have never introduced my daughter to the sport if i had to pay for her. I think she will now be a fan for life.

Our top end strength should see us through and maybe too strong at reserve too. If the Brandonapolis is called off i shall make this meeting instead. He is riding at Swindon today and at the Brandonapolis tomorrow so he is in the UK!

There are some speedway snobs on this thread. All riders named are EL riders, most are heatleaders and £20 for 22 races is the going rate looking at similar meetings. With the added entertainment im hoping for a good night, hopefully the weather holds off! Is that the riding order then Neil?

My daughter is now 11 and between races she always tries to get autographs from riders, more interaction between riders and younger fans is key. I see Coventry will have a fun bus for younger kids at a few meetings which is good to see.

Is the GP and SWC one package or can the rights between the two be split?

Doesnt take a lot to work out that originally Superbikes were to be shown at that time but now replaced with LIVE SPEEDWAY which starts at 3am on 23rd March which shock horror is the same time and date as the NZ GP. Cant wait for the GPS to start its the best 15 we have had.

There isnt always 2nd half racing though and how many people actually stay behind for it? Also the quality of racing and riding abilities are no way near the same. We are getting EL riders in the Brandonapolis and i cant see how 20 quid for 22 heats is expensive at all it is simply the going rate for meetings like this. I just hope is done and dusted at a resonable time!

How is £20 for 22 heats inflated? Its £17 for 15 heats in the EL.

Birmingham v Coventry on the 27th March has already been confirmed.

The speedway family twitter feed announced it earlier but thats a fan thing and nothing official. Fans and riders have just jumped over the tweet like its the end of the world.

3-4 gp stars would be nice, hopefully they are trying to get Emil and Gollob over. Others id like to see, Tai, Hancock, AJ, Nicki P and maybe a couple other Brits like King, Bridger and like to see Roynon and Worrall face the big guns.

Can we just remember that Darcy is 20 years old not a kid! At that age he should have far more maturity than he shows and he shouldnt need anyone to keep an eye on him. As for Middleditch he should be sacked, he represents GB abroad and in the press and those comments are disrespectful.

If Ricky averages 6 he will have done well, looks a stronger EL this year with better reserves.

Play off are good for the sport, big crowds, media exposure and keeping the season alive for a few extra clubs are just 3 reasons.

At places like Lakeside and Eastbourne i would tend to agree but the 2 reserves will be good for 9-12 points at Brandon and at the bigger away tracks, Michal got paid 13 at Poole! Depends on how Roynon and Summers do as 2nd strings but they both averaged 5 in that position last year so not overly concerned As for Wolves i think they need a big year from Wells and Proctor who will have to average 6+ to cover Skornicki's certain drop in average. Can they do it im not so sure.

Im not that convinced with the Lakeside team, Bridger and Worrall certainly have improvement in them but not so sure about the rest. Cant see Lakeside doing much away but IF they do manage to pick up a couple of away wins then they may sneak a P/O spot but i cant see it.
