have you seen his kevlars not many sponsors on there.. but i do know it costs a lot to sponsor Tai.. i remember being in a van while another top rider was on the phone talking his Polish contract and he said his engines were 6k a piece and he wasnt in Tai's league.. so conservative figures.. 7k engine 4k frame 800-900 clutch ?? Carb i knew they were around 800-900 a long while ago used thats 12,600 add in all the ancillory parts not far away.. i would say Tai's deal would be on servicing maybe.. but who knows.. its all pie in the sky.. but big money none the less when he has 3 of them.. i also remember seeing inside gollobs van a fair while ago at cardiff.. he had 11 engines lined up down the side of his van..

and you think Tai rides of the shelf rolling chassis ?? and i would put my years wages his engines are a lot more than £3500 each..

i would say one of those necklaces wouldnt even buy one bike.. and i would guess he has 9 floating around and probably 15-20 engines.. for rotations engines i would say easy 7-8 grand a pop each... now sponsors etc i would say for the majority but i doubt they pay for the upkeep of them.. but then again every time he puts his leg across that bike he is putting his life on the line so its pitence really.

i wonder what would be said if he put up how much he put into his kit.. and only one house is paid off the one in sheffield..

actually Tai has to miss the walk for darcy because his contracted to poland and they require him there so he cannot travel back to do it.. ohh yet another thing you may pick up on

i saw him just after this was filmed as i live in peterborough.. asked him if he had seen this.. he said he doesnt read it and it doesnt concern him.. then we went for some grub.. basically guys he is british he rides for GB.. the way i see it this is his sport its his earning potential and his life we are all talking about.. how much he is earning in poland is pure speculation and to be frank it doesnt concern any of you.. his views on the Final are pretty clear he wanted some of the new blood to enjoy it and get their chance at winning after winning it 3 times on the bounce. if Tai is a multi millionaire good for him as we all know this sport can come to an end for a rider at any point.. every sports person is going to have people that dont like him but when Tai goes any where there are plenty asking him for an autograph and to have pictures taken.. in my opinion he is a great Champion and a really nice lad to boot i mean to do this for a young lad was brilliant. robert72 and his little clan of followers you can speculate all you like.. put Tai in front of you.. you wouldn't spout this garbage to his face saying you shouldnt be in team GB.. i call you keyboard warriors..

you could say the same about it being on the front of the bikes as well.. thats still there and the name when the riders are announced etc.. of course he is going to show it he get paid to do it.. you work..??? you do it because you are paid.. he is exactly the same.

i would imagine its powerade in the bottles or glaceau smart water.. but monster energy is geared and advertised to this audience the sports people and people watching high octane sports. no where is he saying he drinks it.. its just advertising and lets be honest monster put a lot of money into this sport at GP level and i kind of thank them for that. there is and always will be pro's and con's to what people percieve as to be good advertising we just have to live with it i am pretty sure Greg's 3 year deal wasnt to be sniffed at.. good luck to him i say if you dont want to drink it then the advertising is working and it is showing it is targeted at the right audience who can see the advertising but can make the adult choice in drinking it or not.

everyone thinks they know Tai better than he knows himself.. having spent some great moments with the Woffinden family they are and will remain so commited to british speedway and its not because they think its an easy in to the GP series.. Tai said to me 10 years ago when I gave Tai, Rob and Sue (a visiting rider and family for Scunthorpe... Plymouths deadly NL rivals) a guided tour of Plymouth and took him to my home to pressure wash his bikes and kevlars and prep them for the nights racing .. one day mate i will be world champ and what he has done is everything he has had to do to achieve that and I for one will never say a bad word about the guy.. I will always look upon Tai as one of the most dedicated and focused riders I have met.. nothing will stand in his way of getting to his goals but he has always considered himself British I reckon to Partially honour his Mum and Dad but he was in Australia for a long time and if I had a chance to go there for the winter holly bejesus I would be gone.. best of luck to the guy and best of luck to the British Team Captained by Tai

you know that for sure.. if that's the case its even worse.. as he has polish duties and that's even further to carry the bikes for this meeting

Tai will have a set up in sweden touring and one in poland touring and hid GP set up also touring.. His GP set up wouldn't be able to have got from Denmark to Manchester in time for Monday and neither would of any of his other set ups to be able to continue his contractual league racing on the Tuesday.. if someone could tell me how he could of got his bikes over here in that very short space of time without costing huge amounts.. please chirp up.. I think he reasons of saying I have won it three times on the bounce.. I want to give one of the younger guys a chance to win it and get their GP spot .. I don't think for one second Danny King thought this is a hollow victory because tai wasn't here.. in fact I think he was relieved.. that track would have suited Tai and his bikes would have out done any riders bikes there for speed.. so yes he deserves the team spot and I think you should give the guy a break

I don't think he has ditched it at all he is still Captain of the World Cup Team and wears our colours while riding.. I know he would do anything he could.. but it proved it a while back trying to ride in this country as well ruined his World title chances through being tired.. so one had to go and through many avenues the British League was the one to come worse off when we look at rain offs and the like.. he couldn't commit to it.. But this guy wears our flag and is a British Champion and I want him to do multiple championships.. I would love to see him ride over here but I know he cant at the minute but I want to see him world champ again more than british champ.

then surely it should be made evident that the GB team will be made from people taking part in it.. BUT IT ISNT so he doesnt have to ride in it.. surely being a British World Champion comes before a British Champion.

so please tell us what you know about riders wages.. which riders and what wages.. because when you even say you know what riders are being paid you lose all credibility.. the other riders mentioned are not riding in the same amount of leagues that Tai is and where and when he rides is completely up to him and his diary and keeping energy levels at the highest for the world title.. in fact how many titles have Holder,Zagar,Johnson,NKI & Bomber won... Holder once.. the rest none... Tai knows what is best for his preparation and what is best for him to keep at his best all season

did gareth bale stay in the UK to play football or go over seas to earn a mega pay check.. they don't boo him playing for his home side.. notice I don't know a thing about football but the wage is still the same thing.. I was once in a riders presence while he was negotiating his wage for a polish side and the offerings were BIG.. guarantee money multiple 100's per point and engines totalling 5-6k and engine and asking for 3 of them.. which team in this country has that funding other than poole maybe... I remember Nikki Glanz when he rode for Plymouth was Given and GM engine of his choice when he rode for Reading.. it was like giving candy to a baby this game isn't so much about pride.. its about making money while doing a sport that can be very short lived.. we are lucky Tai decided to wear the british flag he could have so easily wore the Ozzie Flag..

The money over here is small fry to what they get over seas.. this sport can be a very short one and making the most money and keeping world championship hopes alive are very high on his priority list.. if we said we don't want you to be team gb (which I think will never happen) you will then see a team GB team that wouldn't do anything then you will be up in arms again anyway.. to some degree it is a huge shame Tai isn't riding in the British Championships.. but we have to respect his wishes and not shame the event because there are still some very good riders in it.. ask your self this what would happen if Tai did ride.. got out he gate and was a straight infront of any competition and made it look way to easy.. would that be interesting for the fans.. ohh we saw Tai win with no competition how boring is that... but now I see a list of riders thjat anyone would be able to win it.. his reasons for not riding in the UK are very clear.. how many meetings this year have been cancelled and re run on days when he would be over seas riding.. let one of the stat men sort that one out.. he wouldn't be a regular for any british team due to the amount of rain offs we have had and always get.. and the money over here is a fraction of what he gets over seas.

we could get him a push bike to ride on.. I was on the fence a bit but w few minutes looking at that time table I know exactly why he isn't riding.. where would the bikes he used come from.. they would have to be driven here.. or flown... who is going to pay for that.. and if driven his drivers I don't think would get back to Sweden in time for his next programmed ride there.. that now speaks complete sense.. and NOT ONE RIDER HAS THAT SCHEDULE... do not blame Tai one bit for not doing it..

i think the biggest reason is his 6 days straight riding.. thursday sweden friday practise for GP saturday GP sunday Poland Monday British Final (not happening) Tuesday Sweden tell me another rider in the british final that has that as a list of rides ???? plus he would have to get the bikes here to use them as I would bet he doesn't have any in the UK.. that wouldn't happen from any where... now tell me its because he couldn't be bothered
