  1. On the British speedway web sight its listed on the fixture list for Mon 3rd of April at 7.30

    Sheffield Tigers 2023

You also need to look at other leagues before you comment on averages. Lidsey is going well in Poland. But if you look at the Swedish league averages for riders signed this year from a 7 team league you will find that there are 38 riders with a better average than Lidsey so not that great.and with Swedish tracks being a lot closer to our tracks its hard to say how well he will go here. I expect he will go well at home( big track like Poland) but who knows about away tracks. Also Bellego sits next to him on the average list so another one who goes better in Poland than Sweden.

Lamberts 7 + average to replace Fricke is not the point really. Even if he had been reassessed to an 8 which seems to be the average that returning g p riders are assessed at he was replacing a rider on a 8.55 average so what's your point.

    Belle Vue 2023

If things go wrong and the team drops there average, can't fit him in now but is Zagar waiting in the wings ???.

    Ipswich 2023

Of which i for one will be eternally grateful .

    Kings Lynn 2023

What are the Polish rules on how many clubs a rider can sign for .Can Basso sign for 4 clubs.

    Belle Vue 2023

Do we know if the R/Stars that are moving up defo get the 25% off their average as being said for a little while now or just the 2,5% British reduction because if not the team above is just over. 1 point in Brennans average makes a massive difference to who you can fit in a team.If 25% then your first team fits of Bewley, Brennan, Zagar, Blodorn. Kurtz and Berge without it Wright instead of Zagar. Without knowing one way or another no one can really predict a Belle vue team.

    Belle Vue 2023

Can you see Belle vue and Cookie making up he would fit instead of Berge. Could still do a dam good job as a second string at the NSS and i.m.o be much better away than Berge. Plus keep Brennan at reserve for a while.
  9. Like i said in my first post not having a dig.Every winning team will have questions asked, but the bottom line is if you win the play offs you are champs and no one can take that away and its in the record books for all to see.
  10. I stated in my post i had a quick look at his home meetings. I can only go off the figures a number 7 in his heats at home rides against 6/7 5/7 2/7 6/3 .A number 1 at home rides against 1/2 5/6 3/4 1/5 . So a number 7 faces 5 reserves 2 heat leaders and 1 second string. A number 1 faces 5 heat leaders 2 second strings and 1 reserve the odds are that he would have had a much tougher time keeping his 7 point average. So you have to agree that riding at number 1 he would face much tougher opposition. All i said is would he have kept his 7 point average if not the panthers gained a R/R for a heat leader for the rest of the season.
  11. Not a dig but how he was on a false average a quick look going off home meetings only. 5 meetings at reserve scores 47 points. One meeting as heat leader scores 5 points gets injured keeps average he achieved at reserve all season.Would he have kept that level of scoring at number one if not team benefits rest of season having rider replacement for an extra heat leader.

    Wolves 2023

    Better lawyer
  13. The only way we can see if Belle vue could beat Sheffield without Lambert in the side is to go back to the 4 league matches we have ridden against each other this season. Home and away first meetings Belle vue on agg won 94 to 86 .On the second meetings Sheffield won 93 to 87. Thats one each add all the scores together to get a winner and the score is 181 to 179 in favour of belle vue another just 2 point win so we kinda beat you three times on aggregate.

    Ipswich 2022

Wolves beat everyone to it and dropped three and a half points off their team average after their hammering at Kings Lynn.

    Premiership Pairs

Sorry you can't Fricke has a higher average.
  16. Lots of differing opinions on here. Lambert for fricke like for like or cheat etc some say yes some say no. Was the ref right or was she wrong some say yes some say no. Here's my opinion why Sheffield lost (in my opinion this is more like a fact ).If Sheffield's number 1 and G P star Jack Holder had put a shift in and rode like a heat leader at Belle vue any of the above would not have mattered because Sheffield would have walked it.
  17. The biggest thrill of speedway is a dam good close race with a few good passes to get the blood pumping we love it.Its why we go to the speedway its why people come back time and again its why a newby will come back again. So, what do a lot of promoters do cut corners on the most important thing in speedway the track. They buy crap cheaper shale some don't seem to maintain the track as well as they should and then the racing suffers, and they then wonder why the crowds are down. It's sad to see a once thriving sport keep shooting itself in the foot.
  18. Sorry you did not get my independent quip. Lawyers opinion, your opinion, my opinion everyone else's opinion the only fact i can see is that some ones opinion that counts says Robert Lambert rides for Belle vue in the play offs.
  19. In your opinion. Its what a lot of fans want an independent opinion well we got one.
  20. No where near the difference between Woffinden and Kylmakorpi.Plus its a now swap for Fricke and both now are pretty even riders. Ah just noticed your a Sheffield fan are you one of those people who are happy to win the league against a weakened team.(Its a like for like swap for an injured rider)He's not seen your track in years who knows how well he will go there.
  21. No one is a ringer but lets look at it another way Kylmakorpi a third heat leader just back from injury set to drop to a number 4 on the next green sheet 4 days after swap replaced mid Aug by the reigning world champion after one of his other teams has finished their season. Fricke reigning world pairs champ, G P rider and winner and Belle vue number one with an 8 plus British average out with multiple injuries. Replaced in Sep/Oct by Lambert World number 5 and fellow GP rider with a 7 plus British average after one of his other teams has finished their season. Both changes within the rules and both are fine. But if you asked a non speedway person which of these swaps looks like a ringer which one would he say.
  22. Nothing said about the rider it is you who is the cheat with 2 posts to prove it.
  23. The difference is Belle vue were proved right and the ruling body confirmed this by allowing Lambert to sign for Belle vue. But with you, you suggest a rider should cheat to drops his average in your first post then confirm that you think its ok that he should cheat in your second post. With all the evidence provided no lawyer in the land could prove you inocent so it is you sir who is the cheat.
  24. Ouch beat me to it hypocrite bang the anti cheat drum and then suggest a rider cheats to drop his average.
  25. Forget all the different twists on the rules. The bottom line is Fricke rode all season to get Belle vue into the play offs. From his last home and away meetings with Ipswich, Sheffield and Wolves Fricke has scored 67 points. For a club to loose that fire power in the play offs down to injury in my eyes is wrong now and for any club in the future.. A like for like change in my eyes is the fair way to go Lambert will have to go some to match those scores. The change does not make Belle vue any weaker or stronger if they win it they will have deserved it if another team wins it they will have won it because they are the best and not because they beat a weakened team.
