Yep the following season he and Jack Smith went head to head for the number one spot with Smith just pipping him for the number one spot. At the time i thought both of them had a great future but it would seem they both went down the same path and sadly never seemed to kick on to the next level.

Sorry stats don't lie home meetings only. For most of the season they rode together at number 1 and number 2 so they had plenty of races together 31 in total. Bewley won 28 of them Bickley 3 and 2 of those wins came in the play off final so late in the season and one of his wins was an awarded race when Bewley fell while leading. Bickley stayed at number 2 all that season so never reached heat leader status in the season they rode together. Sorry enjoy the stats side of the sport and not long retired so plenty of time on my hands lol.

Your memories are well out check the 2017 stats Bickley was never a patch on bewley when they rode for the Colts together. Bewley ended the season on a 10 plus ave and Bickley on a 6 plus ave .5th average in the team.

Great reserve but as a 1 to 5 rider oops .With peoples disposable income taking a massive hit i fear this years team will put speedway lower on their list of where to spend it. I m o this is the poorest team we have had since we moved to the NSS and it could not have happened at a worse time

Its the bigger picture i worry about its not Belle vues/lemons fault that they are struggling to field a team near the points limit this year. Next year it could be us again or another team. The fact is that even with a 6 team league we cannot get enougth half decent riders to come over here anymore.I know a few have come back but we have lost 10 heat leaders plus a list of decent second strings since the end of the 2019 season they no longer wish to ride over here or Poland won't let them As we produce any British talent when they are good enougth they sod off as well. We haven't even got enougth riders to form one big weaker league Sadly the only long term answer will be is to reduce the points limit and add even more riders to the doubleing up list.The outlook for British speedway looks bleaker as every season passes of which i am gutted. Heat leaders lost. Bewley, thorssell.,Bjere,Klindt,Lambert.Tungate,Jensen,Iversen. Schlein and Grajczonek have retired.

My guess rides in polish second division and Sweden so can ride in British league. Rode a few matches over here in 2013 and has a very low British average but is now good enough to be a heat leader over here and would be an exciting rider to watch is A Lebedevs.

No offence intended, all i was doing was trying to do was point out that we had read the same thread and both had a different opinion as to what we had read. The last part of my post says that we both have a different opinion and that neither opinion is a fact its just an opinion. But i do find that the conversations i have had with a snowflake/woke type person (in my opinion) they can never see the other persons point of view their view is always a fact. Its also my view that i find that in most conversations i have had there point of view comes from what they have read on the fact filled internet or in conversations with like minded people etc and not much through life experiences there is a big difference. The two posts below yours come from people who have had real life experiences of some of your points and they both differ from your point of view. I tend to believe real life experiences more than the internet. I do know there are a lot of injustices in this world which need addressing but i do feel that the snowflake woke point of view is not the way to go about it they just tend to pi** people off.This is my last post to you as i know what ever i say will not change your point of view and i know you will be busy with your friends trying to get the term Christmas holidays banned .(how the hell is that going to change anything) Again no offence intended just stating my opinion just like you. .

So does Bjerre and Palin. Jorden would score a lot more points riding Belle vue every week than round Peterborough more pennies, and Brennan would score more in away meetings good mix. We need a team that can ride the NSS well. If we get to the playoffs we need a team that can win big at home and give us a chance of a good lead for the away leg.I think said team would do that. First of all i feel i have to state that i am in no way a racist. We have a young black girl who lives next door who we have a good relationship with i pick up /drop off her 6 year old son at school when she has to go to work etc. But i do think that the snowflake/woke points of view often creates a problem when there isn't one and in a lot of cases makes things worse. Your post is a typical example of this. You have twisted things to fit your point of view. Your comment. (I could go on about it not being about black people being interested, its about being given a fair chance.) is in my opinion in this case B/S. First of all about Black people not being interested all you have to do to prove that this is the case is to look around the crowd at any speedway meeting and sadly you wont see many ethnic minority faces, you don't have to be given a chance to view a speedway meeting. Then there is a comment in a post from Beowulf a speedway fan of Indian decent who states that his own family take the micky out of him for his unusual interest. and that he says he is not typical of his generation. comments that indicate there is not much interest in motor sport from ethnic people straight from the horses mouth. Then there are numerous posts of people posting the names of numerous ethnic minority riders that have been given a chance as you call it .My point is for the reason posted above there is not much interest from ethnic minority people. But those that have an interest have been given the chance in the sport the odd few ie Lindback have done very well the others named have not done as well just like a lot of white riders . Then you mention a successful reigning world champion who is a black chap. If as you say ethnic people are not being given a fair chance how the hell did he become world champion without all the backing and support that takes . No they would not. If as rumoured S Worrall has been signed in place of Schlein that takes your team total to 40.56 so you would have to change one of last years team for a rider on a 1.56 lower average
