The test result was non negative. The 2nd test wasn’t done, not refused like some have said.

Yes

Clutching at straws?
He took a test.

Hopefully the facts will be published ASAP!
Perhaps it doesn’t and if we all knew the full facts then your attitude towards Nick might be different, but I wouldn’t hold my breath

That’s half the problem. The statement from the SCB says that the test was refused, despite one being taken and another not been undertaken.

Officially confirmed on Leicester’s Twitter feed just now. The Pairs meeting is also off tomorrow.

He won’t be flying back on Tuesday.

Unless it’s been moved to neutral venue? Maybe somewhere like Oxford?

The irony of Poole fans talking about how to prepare a track. Didn’t Wimborne Road double up as a golf course with the amount of holes that used to be in it?

2 hours ago, Skidder1 said:So has Morris been officially diagnosed with concussion as well as his lower back injury?
His BSN interview when he said he was not fit to race said his head was 'spinning'!!
He definitely didn’t have concussion. They checked him out for that and he passed the test.

Were you there to see the crash? It was hardly a bum slide to force a re run.

2 minutes ago, Steve Shovlar said:Pirates are riding far better than when Leicester came to us and won. And it looks after tonight we are heading to Glasgow in the playoffs, as I said a few weeks ago.
Would Leicester risk chosing us in the semi finals?
Hope Nick Morris is OK.
Stewart Dickson confirmed tonight that Leicester will be riding against Edinburgh next week.

A decent meeting as a neutral, but not enough of a lead for the Lions. On a side note, some of the behaviour of the Poole fans were disgraceful. One in particular shouted, with children around “Get your bike off the track you f*cking idiot” whilst Nick Morris lay on the track. On three occasions, they also went into the safety zone, including once when the bikes were on track.
Apart from that, there was some good racing. Roll on Edinburgh next week in the play offs.

Definitely Newport. I think we had a meeting every year from 1999-2008 under Tim, and then 2010-12 in the Mallett reign. Frostbite was pretty much guaranteed every year.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. How did the ref not spot that?

Did anyone notice that the Plymouth riders were on the wrong gates in heat 10?
-
This was probably the best race of the meeting last night in the link below. Heat 10 and 14 were the only heats that stood out, but Leicester did what they needed to do in making sure Redcar got nothing from last night. Hopefully Redcar can beat Scunthorpe when they meet on Friday, so it sets up a group decider against the Scorpions next Saturday.

I stand corrected since heat 8. A great heat 11. Fair play to Cook and Douglas.
-
Not much in the way of passing so far. Both sides suffering bad luck in heat 7 brought the only passes in the meeting up to this point.
-
Surprised Poole didn’t use Ablitt in heat 9, to use Ben in heat 14.

Plymouth very, very unlucky tonight. Poole made very hard work of grabbing a draw against a 5 man team, at least after heat 6 anyway. Plymouth would’ve won with Palm Toft by a good 4-6 pts if it wasn’t for his crash. Fingers crossed he’s only got away with concussion (as per Mark Phillips when interviewed).

A bit naughty from Lawson there in heat 7.
