i totally agree im from the midlands too and it is a pain driving 2 too 3 hours just to ride , maybe thats where the bspa could help out a bit more and have a few training centres all over the uk, i will stick up for wolverhampton though they only rent the stadium of ladbrokes so cant really run a training school, coventry do have ride a slide days, and swindo do have a mini track but im not sure if it is even used!!!!!!!! this is why we are miles behind other countries in the sport its not rocket science, poland tracks are open like 24/7 for practice, sweden and denmark run lots of schools and have racing from 80cc just look at the hard work eric gundersen has done with the danish kids!!!!!! what english pro has every done that or even helped the sport in this country,

hello i would suggest you go to a training school first to see if you like, there is a few about my first skid school , scunthorpe, lydd, sittingbourne and prob many more ive not mentioned (sorry if i have missed you out) then take it from there , if you like it then i would recomend you getting your own gear as you can get used to your own bike, im from wolverhampton too there is a great little training track about 40 mins from us up at burton http://burtonmotox.com/news.php but as you get better and quicker i would suggest going to a track , scunthorpe is about 2hours from us they always have things on all through year , but i would go and try before you buy , it does look easy watching the pro's do it!!!! all the best in what you choice and maybe see ya on a track soon!!

thanks for all these replies
im not sure if bike smoked or let oil through before service!!! i brought bike and had it serviced straight away , the only problem was new piston and rings, bearings , gaskets !!! i asked the guy who serviced it sunday and he said it was the carb flooding or overfilling off oil ?????
-
You can discount the primary chain idea.
Do you mean your exhaust is smoking from burning oil?
the primary chain issue is just that i have been given a new one but its bigger than the one im using at the moment ,!!!!
the bike does smoke sometimes but the oil is coming through the end of the silencer ,not loads but you can see oil out the end !!!!
the engine has been serviced about 8 amature races done !!!
-
the engine has had a service about 8 races done since !!! only amature races !!!! the guy who serviced it said it is the carb flooding thats all it can be !!!
so im relly unsure now as to what the problem is ?? it is not loads of oil coming through , just a bit leaking out from silencer !!
-
hello
could anybody give me some advice on why im getting oil coming through the exhaust ???
( i got told 2 different answers yesterday )
1= too much oil?
2= carb flooding?
what difference if any would a bigger primary chain do??
