Team Suits and/or Race Jackets
Dornier replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I thought of that but they don`t look too good when they`re flapping about in the wind. They`re ok for guest riders. -
Team Suits and/or Race Jackets
Dornier replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yes I think they look great, they look a professional outfit just like it should be. The Poole lot looked terrible last year. -
I think I`ve seen it on the website but can`t find it now, does anybody know when the Tigers press & practice is please

So ! When its a close finish its the rider who gets his ponder over the line first who wins and not the rider who gets his front wheel over first... -

I remember him as a gater and a one line rider. dont think he did much passing but he mainly didn`t need to as gating was his forte. He was a good number one at Sheffield. -

Belle Vue v Somerset KO Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg 19.9.18
Dornier replied to Aces51's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I thought it was a decent crowd there looked to be quite a lot on the back straight and a few rebels fans as well -
I thought Auty rode really well. Nicholls has no complaints he just couldn`t cut the mustard. I thought the Leicester riders as a whole rode as individuals, there were several occasions where a bit of team riding would have produced more points, Hans Andersen being the main culprit. I don't think Stead should have took mountain out he was doing a good job and to replace him didn`t make a scrap of difference to the result, he needs more rides not less.

Somerset v Poole Prem B. 20/8/18
Dornier replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
After watching the meeting Aces v Leicester which was conducted on a super smooth surface where riders could blast round at great speed it was a big come down to see the shocking state of the track at Somerset. I was lead to believe Somerset was one of the better tracks but apparently I was misled. I think its one of the roughest surfaces ever shown on BT sport .even worse than Pooles. -

Well there you go ! its not something new to put oil on the track. -
Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 25/7/18
Dornier replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The Lions will have to trap better than they did on Monday otherwise it will be a massacre. IF they can trap then its quite possible they can be in the points, am hoping like most people for a Lions win. -

SEC Finals - 4th round Saturday September 15th Chorzow live on Eurosport
Dornier replied to Col's topic in International World of Speedway
Some very determined riding from Lambo he deserved his win. Lets hope he can do summat at Cardiff. -
Personally think Dave Rowe and company are doing a great job. If Mick Horton wants to run speedway at Leicester and call the team Coventry Bees then that's his pigeon. But the majority of Coventry fans want to see speedway back in Coventry and preferably back at Brandon. In my opinion running speedway in Leicester wont help one iota.

Sheffield v Ipswich 5/7/18 Championship
Dornier replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It was a pity there was a big crash early on, it was building up to be a good meeting but it all changed after that, I think it would have been a different result otherwise. I thought Covatti was excellent. Don't know what was matter with the track but they seemed to have difficulty riding it with a lot of bucking broncos going on. -
World Championship Pairs
Dornier replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think Tai did the right thing in beating his counterpart Artem. It was Lamberts job to do the same with his counterpart Emil. -
World Championship Pairs
Dornier replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think team riding is between two riders who are in first and second position OR in second and third position. Am not a fan of slowing races down , I think its a dangerous practice. Unlike cars speedway bikes don't have brake lights so the rider behind has no idea the rider in front has slowed up until it is too late. Ask Gino Manzares. I think after the first bend when Lambert was well adrift and based on all Lamberts previous rides it was obvious Lambert wasn`t going to pass Sayfutimov so Tai went for personal glory in front of his Polish fans. That's my opinion. -
They were the best, don`t remember any riders pulling out of those meetings, they were as good as a world final.
