Seeing as the Cardiff wild card is decided by the winner of the British Final it follows on that the track reserves should be the next riders in order of finish at the British Final namely King. Cook. Harris. I would lmagine those are the rules. Personally think King fully deserves his chance at track reserve, he was as good as Wright on the night. You just cant go around changing rules just because it doesn`t suit your own preference.

I really enjoyed it. I was thinking about you the whole meeting. I was lucky enough to be there to see the rider I chose to be in the SON become British Champion.

He didn`t do too bad to say you said and I quote ` hes a bang average rider.` just shows how much you know about non Belle Vue riders.

If I heard right I wouldn`t be pleased if I was Bewley to find out my team manager had robbed me of a place in the SON.! don`t think it was wise for Rosco to disclose this but he was probably shifting the blame.

I thought Rosco said it was Lemon who told him Bewley wasn`t fit !

I don`t think Bewley should be in it. hes overated by the Belle Vue tribe. I`ve seen him a few times now live and on TV and he seems to me to be a single line rider making big bursts round the outside. I cant remember seeing him doing any cut backs but I may be wrong. I would have gone with Wright, hes fearless

Bad management

I`ve noticed in a few meetings now that when Fricke and Bjerre are in the same race you would think they are in opposition to one another. It happened last night and I`ve seen it at Belle Vue. Having said that it was the same at Brandon when Nicholls and Harris were in heat fifteen together there was no togetherness.

Peterborough need to get behind their team before its too late.. When its gone its gone and we don`t want to lose a great track like Peterborough one of the best in the country !!

It needs to be one big league. It should have happened this year but it didn`t ! British speedway needs to be run on days that are best for each particular track and not to suit Poland. We need to get back to the British League era. Its a fallacy that we need the big names we don`t ! we need good racing. The big names are riding in Sweden and I`ve watched a few on telly and the racing is no better than we have here...Let the so called big names ride in Poland if they want to but I think you will find a lot of them will eventually come back home with their tail between their legs when they`re dropped in a squad system...

If I remember rightly they carried Nigel out from the pits as if he was still sat in an armchair and placed him on his bike. I think it was a British semi final.

How come you never spoke up for him before then if you thought so much about him ?

Didn`t see him. I would have thought that if he had a clear conscience he would have been there supporting the team.

Josh was at Sheffield today. he looked quite jovial as he walked round the pits telling various riders of his exploits. His right arm around the elbow looked black and blue and swollen and some bad grazes/burns.

Josh Bates was in attendance. His right arm looked pretty bruised and swollen around the elbow. but he looked happy enough telling various riders of his exploits.

I travelled for an hour to reach the stadium but only because I had bought tickets online well in advance. If I hadn`t got the tickets I would not have gone because I would have expected it to be off. Petrol money comes into the equation as well. I thought the meeting was a very poor advert for the sport. It did go ahead but the track was sodden

I agree. Personally think Bomber would have gone on to win that race because you could tell he was in that mode to win at all costs. Fricke knew it would be Bombers tactic to sweep round the outside and therefore closed the door before he had passed him.

Dont think it helps selling tickets in advance on line as it makes it impossible to drop the price at the drop of a hat ! People who had bought tickets way in advance would be up in arms if the price dropped on race day. And if tickets were sold way in advance at £10. because it was on telly THEN B.T. changed there planned televised meeting the Aces would lose out so they`re a bit stuck with it.
