I remember when he was missing for a season a handful of years ago and I certainly felt that the presentation on the evening was far poorer due to the lack of his presence.
That would be 2017 when we brought in Ranting Roy

Was a best of 3 match race with Jim McMillan

You know what the Poles are like, get riders to attend practice sessions even if not in team.

Bastian Borke signs for Berwick

1 hour ago, Fromafar said:Depending who Bandits sign as last rider they may be in the mix for Top 4 .IMO.Might be strong in the 2nd string and reserve position which will be a plus.
i think a lot will depend on 3rd Heatleader performances, we have Etheridge, Poole Brennan, Edinburgh Kye Thompson, Glasgow Flint, Oxford Jenkins, Plymouth Newman, Redcar TJ, Scunny MPT. Workington still have 6.32 to play wit hfor final rider.

Why can't he fit in at Berwick ?

Shame a rider like Matty Wethers looks like he is stuck on a 6-47 average which he finished on during Newcastles ill fated 2022 season.

Dicken would be a surprise and a gamble.
Replace Dicken with either Embleton or Mason Watson

Lots of improvement from the non-heat leaders required!
To be fair you have 3 young riders in the Thompson twins and Hook all capable of progressing next season.

32 minutes ago, Skidder1 said:Season Ticket prices announced this evening. Cheapest so far of those clubs that have confirmed theirs.
£189 for 11 meetings (£159 Concessions - 65+) and you get a guaranteed seat in the main grandstand for that!
Not forgetting 10% off merchandise in the track shop and the usual invitation to the Club's P&P.
That is good value TBH

11 minutes ago, Yearbyred said:Thats fair enough, already think the team looks better than last years.
All teams need to be competitive at home, very dispiriting to lose a few home matches.
When you start losing at home regularly the fans vote with their feet and crowd levels drop. Track most weeks was quite slick which suited the away teams, we need to prepare a track which gives us home advantage as other teams do. Winning your home matches especially with bonus point addition being in place can help towards a playoff place.
