Berwick Rangers were away but another local club plays at Shielfield which i think has basically started this season. Due to the football over running speedway were not able to work on the track between 12pm - 5pm.

Attention now turns to this weekend’s double header, with the Bandits facing Birmingham in the Championship before the National Development League Bullets take on defending champions Leicester Lion Cubs with a 6.30pm start.
Young Dane Jonas Knudsen will be missing on Saturday, as he was due to be on Tuesday, as he has been forced to admit defeat in the struggle to overcome a long-term injury which has restricted his points scoring.

23 Berwick fans attending Sheffield v Kings Lynn on the 31st as part of our Cardiff Trip Sheffield Thursday,Oxford Friday, and GP Saturday. Obviously we have all been before to watch Berwick plus Riders Championship meetings, but usually off the bus into the Old Crown watch the meeting and home. This time we were thinking of either the carvery or hospitality and i was wondering what is the best option cheers

No excuses Poole came and done a job, as usual Lawson and Worrall led from the front + paid 15 from the reserves always a bonus. Berwick were basically a 4 man team with Jonas struggling Boxall plenty effort with little reward and Connor having a rare off night.

Been no rain in Berwick today even cut the grass

Complin would probably be the first choice if available. Pijper now available as Leicester v Workington postponed

Poole website says he is doubtful for tonight's meeting

Heat 15: Lawson, King, Wells, Harris (R) 1-5 (45-45)
Line-up: Wells, Harris, Lawson, King
Comments: Stopped. King jumped the start and is warned.
Re Run: Pirates gated. Harris chased King down and passed him bend 2 lap 2. Harris then packed up lap 4 gifting the Pirates the 5-1.and as for never seeing the track before Knudsen was in the same situation at Poole 6. Jonas Knudsen - 3, 0, 3, 1', Fx = 7+1 -
