Coventry Bees V Wolves Friday 27th March
shadowfax replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Rules are bit ambiguous 16.5.2 For an absent Rider with (a) an assessed MA, or ( has been approved in a team’s declared line-up at the start of the season, a 28-day Facility may be granted at MC’s discretion 16.5.3 No facility is permitted to replace a Rider, who although included in a Re-declaration has not made an appearance for that Team since being re-declared. My interpretation is that Wolves can use either a Guest or R/R if Craig Cook is available I'd go with the Guest option but it will probably R/R, but I'm only a supporter so what do I know. -

Just a question in what other sport would allow the match referee to officiate a match involving a relative?

I believe the cash was splashed to Newcastle for a certain Mr Pedersen

Glad it's not on Sky as they don't a monkeys about those of us that are actually at the meeting.

Havvy's Farewell - Poole Speedway - Friday 21st March 2014
shadowfax replied to MMX Events's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I don't think fans do treat it as a mickey mouse competition, I for one always went to this meeting but in the end got fed up of withdrawals and line up changes (injury's not included)and it not containing the leagues top riders, and this has been going on for quite a few years now. -
Until we know the league set up for next year it's difficult but Tai, Ty if fit and Jacob should be nailed on. Fred I think will miss out. They may give Masters another shot as he missed out this year and I reckon 2 from Adam, Ricky, Pontus or Nicolai then who knows .

Birmingham V Wolverhampton Playoff Semi Final 2nd Leg 30/09
shadowfax replied to Brummie Kev's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What a pair of disrespectful supposedly speedway fans there is nothing shambolic or disgraceful about the choice of guest, who would you suggest Bjarne Pedersen, Scott Nicholls, Davey Watt. Better still Steve have a word with Matt and get your match called off so we can use Darcy in the best interests of the sport. -

Ben Barker in the League match in May announced at the last minute just before the parade not riding due to injury but rode 2 matches in 2 days 3 nights later no mention anywhere of said injury. -

Tai Woffinden
shadowfax replied to David Haddock's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If my maths is correct even if Emil returns if Tai out scores Emil, Hampel and Pedersen he can clinch it in Sweden -
Tai Woffinden

Along with most Semi-Final and Final appearances and most podium finishes this season that Tai deserves his place at the top -

Pity it don't stop you posting c**p -
Geography is obviously not HRF favorite lesson should pay more attention unless he can tell me which Aussie State Scunthorpe is in ? For the what ifs, what if Tai hadn't crashed at Cardiff he'd got 7 from three rides & who's to say how many more he'd have got from a potentially another 4 rides also fully fit how many more at Gorzow

Totally uninspiring signing - At least a signing has been made so can go into the remaining matches with a 1-7, we know what Bob can do, he knows the tracks and is scoring well and he can gate. Replacing Ty was always going to be difficult with the form he was in compared to the average he was on now Klindt that would have been a totally uninspiring signing. Risky signing - How going with R/R was risky if we lost another rider during the meeting we would have been up messy creek Now at least we have options , changing the riding order , Whilst Jacobs in good form we can use him as a replacement for out of sorts riders instead of saving him for R/R rides.

Glad Bobs back, would be tempted tho to put Ricky at 2 and the Polish duo at 3 &4
-
Ward will be back at Poole on an average of 9.31 so would be available as a guest

British Final 13th May 2013
shadowfax replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Nothing to do with Wolves the Ref runs the meeting, fresh 2 mins every time there was a stoppage including unsatisfactory starts, riders trotting back to the pits every time that's what was dragging it out. -
Asuming 3 of the 4 remaining spots are Tai, Ty and Ricky how about Dakota North or Taylor Poole to fill the last spot just a thought.
-
No way to either Kling or Fisher, Kling is no better than what we've already got and Fisher might be a nice guy off the bike but on it he's a maniac.

oops sorry me getting confused there getting Auty & Roynon mixed up not feeling 100% at moment need more than mulled wine
