010.3.1 Cut Off Date No team changes will be allowed after 28th August with the effective date being 31st August. Except riders returning to the team after injury who must re-take their position, dictated by their MA, with their replacement being released. The BSPA Directors monitor all proposed moves and have the sole responsibility to approve all re-declared teams, having been satisfied they are in the best interests of the sport.
Where does this imply that Belle Vue are allowed to make a team change

They did for about 1or 2 seasons I think but was got rid of where if team A was on a 5-1 and a rider went down and stayed down on purpose the remaining rider from team B went of 15 meters.

Would love it to be Freddie but think it will be either Nick or Luke

16.5.2 For an absent rider with a) an assessed MA b) has been approved in a team’s declared line-up at the start of the season a 28-day Facility may be granted at the Directors discretion.
But I would imagine that this has expired now, as we have no meeting until the 13th it will be interesting to see what happens if Morris is still not fit.

Wolves got 3 5-1’s in a row to be 10 points ahead by Heat 10, held on well in the last few to win 50-40. Superb performance by Nicholls, Masters and Schlein to get 34 points between them. Becker tried hard too, just had some track troubles tonight, pushed hard in all of the races. Wolves management have a tricky decision to make now whether to keep Nicholls or have Thorssell back. Personally I would keep Nicholls and have Thorssell temp until Nick is fit. Superb meeting after missing last week, 2 weeks till the next Wolves one now.
thanks to everyone who followed the updates tonight, BBC WM for providing commentary and Islander for updating us and Belle Vue pc side at the same time.
It has to be Jacob it's a no brainer Nicholls hasn't been that brilliant and wouldn't expect him to keep it up. Jacob will be a 8+ rider Nicholls won't.You can't bring Jacob in as a replacement for Morris as his average is higher and he is in the original declared 1-7 & Nicholls is a temporary replacement, Nicholls could be a temporary replacement for Morris to save using R/R if Jacob is back 1st.

He cares immensely he also knows there is still work to be done you don't count your chickens

Who's to say Gate 1 is going to be advantageous, last year it was close with gates 1&2 and Zmarzlik has 2 gate 2s he also has gate 1 against Tai so yes a wonderful fix

With the dogs running this afternoon there wouldn't have been chance to work on the track

Injury update on Freddie
INJURY UPDATE | Freddie got injured during the meeting between Wolverhampton and Belle Vue last night.
He has substained an upper back injury and he is still in hospital in England. We are waiting for more results from the doctors and a MRI scan.
Besides the upper back injury Freddie is in good condition.
Thank you all for your caring message.

Is a medical certificate required ? If so Wolves should ask to see, or ride under protest. I have every sympathy with Swindon for their injury problems but this new scenario seems very dodgy.
yes a medical certificate is required and he is unable to ride for 7 days without permission of the MC so that should rule him out of Berwicks meeting on Sunday.

Ok but there has not been an adjusted team limit announced yet so it is difficult to work out how many points we have spare.
Now Emils average from the website is 3.24 which if mult by 1.4 comes to 4.54 for the present 50 point limit, whereas on the bspa gs he has 4.39, so he has increased his average.
The new team limit is 42:00 as per the SCB website
Supplementary Regulation - SR1705 Classification of Speedway Regulation Art 18.7.3 Team Composition 18.7.3 For the SGB Premiership ONLY, it must not exceed 42.00 points in any declaration following the issue of established CMA for 2017, except where the MA of the introduced rider is equal to, or lower than the rider being replaced. Any re-declaration must include 2 riders who have competed or are eligible to enter the National Development League (Conference League).

Well that's 2 meetings to re-arrange and the 1st free date is 12th Sep woohoo for track sharing.
-
Until the fixtures were announced the official site was advertising Monday 28th then alternate Mondays & the cuckoos on Tuesday 29th then alternate Mondays , now the fixtures are out and hey-ho we are riding on the Tuesday why?
-
So we finally have a statement , strange he was planning once a fortnight before the teaspoons deal was finalised but they announce it. As for challenges and fixture fillers quite honestly the Gary Petersen Memorial meeting became a shocking embarrassment in terms of the line up no wonder he was loosing money on it. With the majority of the top riders electing to give the UK a miss bring back the KOC , clubs couldn't make it pay because riders couldn't be arsed so why should fans pay to see a select team.
I for 1 am not pleased there will be speedway every Monday at Monmore as I am a Wolves Fan not a spoon I want to see Wolves each week.

Well CVS & Adams had better put out a fantastic team with a meeting once a fortnight because if they ride like they have for the last few seasons his crowds will dwindle

Looking at the weather forecast the weather may save Wolves tonight

To start with not a fan of either rider but it was a typical Pedersen move ( its a fair move if I do it but its a dangerous move if somebody does it to me).
Did he make contact I cant tell, did he leave Hancock any room not really so the exclusion was probably correct.
What Hancock did after was not acceptable, we've all seen riders squaring up to one another which is usually quite amusing, but that was an actual assult which should have led to a ban.
If riders feel that Pedersens riding is unacceptable then take it up with the authorities not on the track adults understand why but not impressionble kids.
Finally if the roles had been reversed how many pages would we have had calling for Pedersen to be hung drawn and quartered.

Well at least Leicester are trying to give the public some interval entertainment, ok so its not your cup of tea, but DONT knock them for trying. NO pleasing some folk!!
Paid to see some entertainment on the track, a little passing early on but became a one line meeting later
