Just the track fence so would have landed on concrete between the two. Made it very difficult to get to him

I don't understand why they don't say that at the track. It's not difficult!

You'd have thought Basso should have been in heat 15 and the superheat. Maybe he needed to change bikes so not worth the risk at that point. If that was the case I'd have probably gone with Patryk.
I'd been quite happy with NKI this season, but poor tonight with no speed. MPT really should be on his way after another poor home performance. Kerr would be a good option if he becomes available unless there is someone else out there.
I've been impressed with Brennan this season, definitely an upgrade on king. Anders put in a fantastic shift. Dan Thompson rode well too. Good to see three good young brits on the up.
Hope Doyle not as bad as feared. That was a nasty one. It evened the teams up but we still couldn't win even after being ahead on average at one point... ffs... glad we had Klindt lead from the front

How come there is a GP qualifier on a Monday night? I thought Monday was protected for UK, even more important as the Poles have half a finger in the pie for Thursdays?

Would this thread have been 6 pages long instead of 3 if Buster had called off incorrectly....

4 minutes ago, TINYS said:Not rained for over 2 hours and no more rain forecast so that leaves 3 to 4 hours to work on the track. Just saying.
Yep, doesn't ought to be major issue. Drying up nicely where I am 50 miles away. If not raining at Lynn I'd have thought a good chance of getting this on.
And yes, the center concrete probably doesn't help drainage
Be interesting to see a photo of stadium now....

Tbf, its probably the correct call, and all bar previous one have been correct too.
There 'might' be a small window to lay a track and rush through to heat 10, then everyone would complain they'd been short changed with riders being able to ride but not race. Buster can't win....
-
I struggle to see past a Sheffield win, but hope we can keep it close and interesting and the weather plays ball and we get some good racing
-
Does Laguta fit?

I blame Buster for the rain....

FFS - another match I'll miss as off to a concert in London on 1st July. Losing interest in this season at a very fast rate

I'm hoping forecast is right and this gets rained off. I'm away this weekend so hopefully me and Tobi are OK for the rearranged date

1 minute ago, Bagpuss said:Great win and Wojdylo was sensational (as was Brennan) but tje prospect of being without Museilak for 4-6 weeks is pretty depressing with such a busy time coming up. We need to go with guests, R/R just won't cut it and the best/most realistic options look to be Pickering, Douglas and Harris when available. Only Brum not riding next Thursdsy so I hope Rob spoke to Brennan before he drove away last night!
Hope I'm wrong but just feels like a typical Lynn season of injuries, team changes and big away defeats.
After initial enthusiasm that we had a decent team this year, definitely feels like a typical season again
Not convinced on those guests, but does need to be guests instead of R/R. I'd be on the phone to Robert Lambert for an injury replacement spell....

A win, hurrah. Hope Toby and Milik OK. Tobi landed very awkwardly. What a display by Patryk. MPT still the weak link and Ben had a poor night. Good to see NKI's riding well and decent score from Klindt. Anders was in the mix too
For brum I was impressed with Brennan. Seems to have taken another step up this season
On the negative side, what idiot changed the car park exit to the back road. Took a good 10-15 mins extra and with A47 roadworks towards norwich, finally got home at 11.30!
-
Ought to be able to win by more than 2. Be disappointed not to get 50. Milik at reserve could make a huge difference though
-
Definitely pleased to have Klindt back, but definitely still a rider short of a top 4 team.
I was doubting Niels, but after his performance last week at Oxford, think he will do a decent job for us - leaves MPT / Patryk who I'm not convinced with.....one would be ok, but not both....

Watched the live feed last night. Decent shift from the stars. Couldn't work out how tofty looked really quick in 2 races and really pants in his other two. Patryk looked better, but not quick enough. Anders was always in the mix and a bit unlucky not to get more.
Schlien on commentry talked as if he knew we'd got another change coming and it would make us top 4 material
Being a stars fan I thought Wright tried to turn back to inside to block niels....so should have been excluded
-
Probably lack of riders Monday. NKI and Basso still ruled out and Tarasenko potentially withholding services. That's a lot of guests or r/r and not many options I suspect

3 hours ago, Bald Bloke said:So if he comes through that, he will taking his place tomorrow?. Are the concussion rules the same here as Poland? Lawson is/was booked for him. It would be better for the Stars if Puk has a slight "reaction" today
definitely stronger with lawson imo, so lets hope the UK rules prevent PUK riding....

8 hours ago, StarBoy said:All depends if Basso is back.
Lawson is a superb guest for NKI as he’ll probably score more than Puk would have.
If basso is fit I think we could just it, but the bonus point is long gone.
47-43
Lawson and Basso give us a fighting chance, will be close, but struggling to see past a Sheffield win again.... aargh

31 minutes ago, Mr Blobby said:If Nicholls has the wrong helmet colour on then surely he should’ve been excluded on the 2 minutes there. Or was there more to it like Oxford don’t know the rule book when it comes to changes.
I couldn't possibly comment on the ineptitude of the Oxford team manager....

I know it's early doors, but I'd be very tempted to bring in Klindt. If he produced his form of last season he would definitely improve our top 4 chances. I got the impression he was a good team man to have around the pits as well. I was disappointed when he went to Oxford.
That's no disrespect to NKI, but as others have said, he is getting to the wrong end of his career and I rather remember his earlier years for the club

The meeting moved along at a good pace, but I apologise for heat 15. All my fault as I said to my mate we'd done well to get to heat 15 by 9.10pm after delayed start. Cue a fall and two false starts!

Been that way all season, absolute pain in the a**e getting out now, and with constant A47 closures towards Norwich not a fun drive home.
