How many GM's won races and Titles?
-
If they Official assaulted him first, then both will be charged.
-
One is very intelligent, articulate, and knows right from wrong, the other one is a Northerner.
-
If you assault a Licensed official, that's big trouble, handshakes or not, no way can you get away with that.
-
Cook seems capable of getting away with anything, must have friends in the right places.
-
Is Horton involved?
-
He's got to sell his GTR engines before he quits, don't want them going rusty, serious money tied up there.
-
Is this the same Mr Cook who had an altercation with Mr Jones at Wolverhampton and did a runner
-
Nice to see Me Ward showing his true colours, how much money did he con out of British Speedway after his accident, didn't hear him saying how bad it was then.

Time To Crack Down On The Aussies?
Lord Skid replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Pretty simple really, if you don't like the way they treat UK Speedway, don't give them a Team place, let them learn their trade in the Aussie Leagues, with their great tracks and high wages. -
Club Owned Speedway Sealed Engines...
Lord Skid replied to Gresham's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Well, at least they've got the supply of engines sorted, what's the next step then ? Anymore crackpot ideas. -
Perhaps the lady from GTR will come on here and explain, as she is always quick to jump to Fast Freddies defence, or should we say, not so Fast Freddie and GTR's defence.
-
Must be serious, as normally the GTR publicity machine defends the engine to the hilt.
-
Big home defeat, very poor crowd, terrible looking Team, yes the BSPA Chairman certainly knows how to turn things around, put that together with the engine deal, they brokered, wouldn't look too good on a CV.

Special Dispensation covers most grey areas.

Brilliant this thread has gone from one stand up comedian to another in less than a dozen postings.

They haven't broken any laws, why can't people understand that, you sign their contract, to play by their Rules, if you don't like it, then don't join their game. And if you are a big trouble maker, then their way of dealing with it is simple, there won't be a Team place available for you, end of problem. If you are a decent Rider, cause no problems, then the chances are, you will have a job.
-
It's his ball, and he's not letting you play with it, so there.
-
Billy Connelly, I think did the best version.
-
At least with KL's season over, he'll have more time to flog those GTR engines he's got taking up space in his lock up.
-
Honestly it doesn't matter if he scored a maximum every Meeting, his contract can be terminated at anytime Best part is, if they don't pay the Rider, he cannot withhold his services, if he does, then he gets a ban, they don't even have to pay him his contracted money, just a pre determined pay scale.
-
Promoters don't need a reason to terminate a Riders contract, they have absolutely no Rights. The Promoter owns you until 31st October, totally unfair system, but it's their boys club, and you play by their Rules, whenever they decide to change them. I know one Rider who was sold to another Club, without even being told, wasn't until the end of the season that his old Promoter told him.

Think that marriage is going to end in DIVORCE as Dolly used to sing.
-
We all make mistakes, could be worse, you could be sitting on a pile of GTR engines.

Better buy some more batteries for your calculator, over 300 points per season = 600 points+ over two years. Or learn to read.
