Gb V Australia - Ipswich 30th May

Just proves how race rusty you become riding in the elite league without regular meetings each week! At least in the premier league you get a home meeting every week. -
Ipswich Witches V Plymouth Devils Lc Thursday 23rd May 2013

Jonny, you're best to just ignore the troll and his constant whinging. The reason his twenty friends have dwindled to eight is probably because they're fed up of his constant drivel like he puts on here. -

What is the problem with it being the same price as a normal Ipswich match?, it is a test match and they could have charged more. -

Heard at Ipswich on Thursday that Cam was riding in Denmark on the night of the test match, so wouldn't be available. -

Craig Cook actually said he wouldn't be at Ipswich for the test match as he had 4 meetings in 4 days starting with the pairs Friday, gp reserve Saturaday, Nieminens testimonial Sunday and Belle Vue Monday. He said it would be too much. Not sure if this meeting will take place as the rumours are that Australia can't get a team together. It seems a bit strange with the meeting less than a week away and no mention of who will be riding for either team. -

Pete couldn't use Cam in the heat 15 as it is two from the three top scorers and we had three unbeaten riders on 12 or paid 12. When was the last time there were 2000 fans at Foxhall for a speedway match? Do you personally know the 1200 fans who don't come anymore and know their opinions on the subject. -
Ipswich Vs Somerset Thursday 16th May 7.30pm Pl

Obviously I can only judge him when he rides at Ipswich and not once did he look for his team mate on Thursday, or in the previous meeting against Somerset! -

Jason Doyle obviously doesn't know the art of team riding as you slow down or speed up to stay with your team mate, I never see him looking for his team mates. As previous posts say he should look at a way of trying to go round an opponent not through them, the sport is supposed to be non contact! Somerset are realy let down by their reserves, they are probably okay at home on their fast track, but when they come to the tight technical tracks they really haven't got a clue how to ride them. A good result for Ipswich in the end, but that dreaded tactical ride almost ruined it. -

The crop sprayer did come out in the interval, but the track must have dried quickly. It was only the last couple of heats that had dust was evident, but on a warm afternoon meeting you would expect some dust. Good second half performance from the witches. -
It sounds like Steve Day who does commentry on World Superbikes on Eurosport. Not sure how much he knows about speedway tho.

Star Of Anglia @ Ipswich Thursday 2nd May 7.30pm
Bash replied to CardinalSin's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Totally disgraceful move by North, he actually slowed down going into the third bend, waited for Ben and then rode him into the fence, totally premeditated and he should be given a ban. The sport is dangerous enough without putting someone into the fence on purpose. As for trying to impress PL promotors he was interviewed during the meeting and said he had no intention of riding PL this year, because it was boring, crap money and fed up with all the rain-offs up north. So this answers the question that he wasn't available to sign for Ipswich as he didn't want PL racing. -

Rich would help the others score more points because he is rubbish around foxhall and would finish behind his team mates, thus helping them score points. Whereas Cook would beat his team mates! -

Great result for the witches, shame if we had a number 2 who could score any points we would have won, but two away points is a good start to the league programme. Does anybody know if anyone films the meetings at Scunthorpe -

What's the weather doing in Ipswich, just had an almighty storm with thunder and lightning for about 20mins the other side of Colchester, heading towards Ipswich. -
Rye House V Ipswich 1/4/13 2pm
Bash replied to cityrebel's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Here's to a speedy recovery to all three riders. From my viewpoint the ref got all the decisisions correct apart from heat 14, when how a 5-1 wasn't awarded as Garrity went for a gap which he was never going to get through and brought down Heeps. Jason came up to Cam afterwards and apologised for it, and when I asked Chris Louis why it wasn't awarded he couldn't answer. A meeting that Ipswich threw away with the points given away in the first few heats down to the patch of track between the third and fourth bends which all riders seemed to struggle with. Jason Bunyan having a heated discussion with the tractor man illustrated how bad it was. -

I think it's pathetic the way you keep going on about the transfer fees for certain riders! If you're too stupid to realise the current economic situation and that most clubs are losing money. I would lay off the lager and you might realise that we are in a recession! -

Shame that they run out of programmes, does anyone know if they are going to do a reprint so fans can get one? Never seen Lakeside so packed, a tribute to Lee. -
I thought his initials were A.R!!!

So more crap from you with no facts to back it up! From this reply you were not there either. I live 60 miles from Ipswich, whats your excuse, but I still go and support them every meeting.
-
And what promises were they?
-
Well you have a choice, if you don't want to see Rye House again don't go, simple!!
