  1. Think the only reason the World Team Cup is likely to be run at Reading is because Posselwaite runs Reading ........ Cant think of any other reason . Anyone know of any valid reason for such an important meeting to be run there?
  2. Sure if Hans was to change nationality it would be .......... to Sweden ......... Think he has always had a soft spot for them .
  3. Sure if Poole were to hold it they would erect extra seating on the bends like last time . Very good viewing was had from there.

    World Cup 2006

As a neutral.......... Would rather see it at Poole if it is held in the U.K. Best race track and crowd in England by far .

    Czech Golden Helmet

Well done to Scotty . League title and now the Czech Golden Helmet . Fully expect him to end in the top 3 in the G.P. series next year . A real racer even if he misses the gate . And a Brit to be proud of.
  8. Next years reason ......... The sponsors of the 2 minute clock are anti Britain .
  9. Seat and Hotel booked . Only 8 month to go .
  10. Cardiff Park Plaza still available .
  11. Expect a really good meeting from Nicki Pedersen tonight . Should be refreshed and rearing to go.
  12. Cant see Andersen losing his G.P. place .......... As long as Meridian Lifts are one of the main sponsors . Where ever Meridian Lifts go so does Hans Andersen .
  13. The way he is riding what are the chances of Sullivan also being a reserve next season !!!!!!!
  14. Perhaps the other option is for each team to track a destroyer. A rider who would be guaranteed to put at least 1 rider from the opposition out of each other team he rode against . Would then give his team a real chance of wining the meeting .
  15. Who ever decided to keep the World Cup joker ?/ It took team G.B. 15 heats last night to build up a 6 point lead over Denmark . If in heat 16 a G.B rider had been leading the race and had an Engine Failure and the Danish rider in that race had ended up winning the race the scores would have then been level !!!!!! Wouldnt that have been a total farce ? Also if a rider had been injured in the first race , by a rider who was excluded for unfair riding , and been unabled to ride again in the meeting that team would have been without a rider in at least 3 races. Who thought up these rules ?????

    World Cup Joker !

Glad to see a team who didnt have to use the Joker won. If Australia had won it would have been a joke result .
  17. All refs this year think Rickardsson is God . Cant remember a single decision going against him .

    Danish Team

The Danish team even used the Joker when only 6 behind in heat 16. Which gifted them and extra 3 points ......... And the Brits still beat them by 5 points . Brits lucky ......... Think you are having a laugh .

    World Cup Joker !

Totally agree Subedei. Speedway is a great sport . Why keep inventing stupid rules to make it look a joke to the part time viewer ?

    World Cup Joker !

No . Just get old tapes of Its a Knock Out and watch them .
  22. Think Crump was born in the U.K........ since 0.1 second.

    World Cup Joker !

Why isnt a reserve rider not allowed to replace an injured rider . Even football allow a few replacements ... Feel this rule will come back to haunt the event sooner or later . What if the team leading the event has to ride a few races without a rider ? Even worse if that rider is injured by an opposing rider whose team go on to win the Cup !!!!!!!!
