You will only get the usual nonsensical rubbish coming back at you.As has already been requested - we need Wizzer to come on here and explain how this all came about in the first place. If an answer isn't forthcoming then we can only assume that it is indeed one big fiddle.

I am up for anything that will help to keep the club going. Can't understand why people are wary of this, the supporters club is already looking after 10 grands worth, I'm sure they are worthy custodians.

I really don't see why there has been so much mileage in the crazy suggestion that other teams offer the weekly paying Brum fans reduced admission at their tracks - its a mad idea suggested by one individual who gets slated mercilessly on here so why does anyone take it seriously. Personally I will be getting my fix as often as possible at other Midland venues and Southerly tracks while I'm on hols and will gladly pay full price for the sport I love - while living in hope that Brum will be back on track in 2015.

The Pedaler is prepared to dig as deep as possible in order to find something negative about anything Brum related so it's no surprise that he went for a 30 year old tenuous comparison. Hopefully he'll burn himself out. He may even attend a meeting following the signing of BZ, after all he does extoll the virtues of the sport in Poland.

Blimey, you sound more positive than you have for weeks. From the outside it appears that the whole episode of unrest was orchestrated by GD. He had always had total control under previous owners. The new boys tried to wrest some of that power away so he responds by causing havoc resulting in key figures walking away from the club. His parting shot - put together a side incapable of competing, claiming it was because of a tight budget, then jump ship. Nice one.

Agreed. It would be bad enough if he was just a fan but in his position it's an absolute disgrace.

Just got back from Cov, fortunately I live only 25 miles away from the stadium. Feel really sorry for those who have travelled long distances only to be turned away. The last sentence above from goldeneagle Is what we have been discussing since we left the stadium. Work should have been ongoing since yesterday morning and someone with the power to make these decisions should have been monitoring the efforts being made to improve things. Why is it that it was only deemed to be unraceable half an hour before the start?

A very enjoyable afternoon in beautiful weather and there was more passing than I had witnessed in my previous 4 visits put together. I don't know if any changes have been made to the track shape but it still seems to have only one racing line - most heats being settled after bends 1 & 2. Gates 3 & 4 also have a massive advantage over 1 & 2. It was chaotic outside the booking office with customers trying to join the queue wherever they felt like it and I witnessed a few arguments breaking out over queue jumping. Why is it that some folk think they can do whatever they please and then get irate when they are challenged - one geezer told us all to f?@k off when he was told to go to the back.

I think it would be in the best interests of the club if everyone got behind Alan Philips to push forward. What is the point in making negative comments about him and his efforts to retain control of something that he is passionate about.
