SAD to report that Paul Parish, who was Editor of Speedway Star between 1963 and 1979, died last week. A tribute to Paul will appear in SS this and next week. He was a terrific colleague for many years and have very many happy memories of our time together.

Tens of thousands of people living in 28 specified areas, including swathes of London and the south East and Leeds in the North, are only getting "limited" deliveries because so many Royal Mail staff are off sick or self-isolating. Some residents on the list said they had not received post for more than a month.

THANKS ... we really do appreciate all those who have stuck with us during these troubled times. Subscription sales have held up quite well but retail sales (newsagents, supermarkets, etc) fell off a cliff around April, recovered slightly, but have been on a downward spiral again since November.

THANKS, hanging on!

FROM a google site ... Once someone is vaccinated for COVID-19, their body should naturally develop antibodies that correspond with the virus and ward off future infection, but it’s still not clear how long those antibodies will last.
