  1. I like the continental way - graded riders a,b,c,d whatever system is used the rich glory crazed clubs will chuck money at it
  2. and yet i asked Brian Havelock and he thought it was a great idea! Then laydowns followed and another step to oblivion. The genie is now out of the bottle but us spectators have gained nothing
  3. slightly off topic but just seen a bit about Neil Street on fb and the introduction of the 4 valves. Rightly or wrongly I thought to myself 'that was the beginning of the end'
  4. no, like get the season planned properly smarty
  5. I'm very very confident that lessons will be learned from this event. Maybe

    Brandon Update

wow, that's powerful stuff. Overriding this would show, in my opinion, a level of something I don't want to say beginning with c
  10. did i read it was a 7 45 kick off? Surely 7 latest would have been better. In fact a single dual purpose match would have made more sense, I'm sure that's happened before.
  11. can't see anything of interest
  12. and thats what matters, to about 800 people for about 2 days. no one else gives a flying one
  13. we never have a full team, always carrying at least 2, we carried 3 at home. It'll be 6 tonight
  14. 60 plus points i wd imagine. If thats anyone's idea of a good night out....
  15. seems churlish to complain after the season we've had but our young uns have blown so hot and cold this season.
  16. If I were Poole, I''d make sure the second leg was a viable meeting, give themselves 6/8 points to make up or even diehards would give it a miss if it were a dead rubber. Thats what Charlie Knott would have done anyway
  17. why wd we want the second leg when we'd be 30 or more points behind. Best just get a single figure win at home and pretend the 2nd leg isn't happening
  18. we're going to get creamed like everyone else does

    Odsal

    Odsal

talking about gp 1 and 2 not league
  22. ch958

    Odsal

You have to construct a whole track from scratch at Cardiff. At Odsal you could pull the line in temporarily for a fraction of the cost. Daresay it would be cheaper to hire, cheaper to stage, better track, better location.
