It was a good race track many years ago but has been badly maintained. I don't buy the weak excuses of a wet track as I have seen many GP's,European & World Cup meetings raced in very bad conditions.

How much does ricky Ashworth have stashed away or any other badly injured British rider, I doubt any of them could afford a home on the Gold Coast. I feel they knew the track was very poor and the meeting could struggle but HAD to get the paying fans in for Darcy. The fans were entitled to a refund and for the benefit of speedways future should of had a refund. Did nobody get an admission ticket ?

Your post is laughable and you clearly don't understand the need for the Ben fund to make money for those in real need not a rider who made a fortune in a short time that after a life changing accident he could still buy a home on the beautiful Gold Coast and holiday in Vegas and trips over to the UK, Ricky Ashworth has to live with his parents and battle on. You really do believe he is a great all round role model for kids and are convinced in your head that others agree with you. Yes he is a great rider but you need more than that to be a role model, When you let your country down you are No Way a Role Model.

He is Not popular within the BSPA/SCB plus a number of British riders don't like him as a person, nobody can doubt his talent on a bike.

Havvy was world champion when I was racing, would I seak advice off him, not a chance, couldn't stand him or the way he acted and this is how a number of riders feel about TW.

Aren't we so lucky our armed forces don't quit protecting us because they Do have many well documented reasons to quit. Just putting things into perspective.

When he quit the British final and then Team GB he lost any credibility to have his views taken seriously plus he has now cut all ties with Britain and that was clearly not the way about doing things if he loved British speedway. I love to watch him on a bike but off it then I cringe and feel what he has chucked away. He has let British speedway down more than British speedway has let him down.

Tai only looks after himself and Not British speedway so why would you want him to have any input, he has lost so much respect by many in British speedway.
