    Honestly

Might not be the right place to post this but it does appear to be a "Hot Topic" at present

Not been to any meetings (anywhere) this season (so no idea) however even though it is difficult bringing in riders the following are not new to the league and will improve the team IMHO. That is if they aren't injured and don't have serious Polish commitments; KKH is in the same team as Tero so maybe he is available to do the UK 2nd tier which I don't think the Pole's recognise as a serious league? (will stand corrected) and the two Swedes both have previous with Newcastle. Just depends on how serious the promotion are to be fair in wanting a change

    Any Takers

    Luke Becker 11.58
Norick Blodorn Poss 4.00 or 5.00 Ass (as still an assessed rider in the top league)
    Victor Palovaara 6.25
    Ludvig Lindgren 6.47
    Kenneth Hansen 6.74
    Smetana and Skorja Ass 5's

    Drop 1; 6 and 7 for 19.76 points including left-overs

Bring in Hansen Palovaara and Lindgren for 19.46

    NEWCASTLE

    1) Kenneth Hansen 6.74

    2)  Matthew Wethers 5.52

    3) Ludvig Lindgren 6.47

    4) Victor Palovaara 6.25

    5) Paul Starke 6.27

    6) Max Clegg 5.26

    7) James Wright 5.06

    Current Total 41.56

    Remaining Points 0.44

    Team Total 42

This pushes both Clegg and Wright back into reserve giving genuine strength in depth

The figures need checking out but where there is a will (an all that) there is a way. Potentially a bit more expensive with flights and the like but what do the powers that be do? Keep on ploughing ahead under the current situation? New team manager has been mentioned; paying riders as per contract and without delay may or may not be an issue; get some spirit back in the camp!!! can they or will they just roll on under the current circumstances. As an interested bystander it will be very interesting to see what transpires...

    Regards
    THJ

Hansen.  He rides same Polish team as Tero

I have never been Newcastle Speedway Press Officer, so no.  And to make it clear, the current Press Officer has decided to step down (and not been sacked, before anyone suggests it).

Well hopefully they will get someone who actually knows how to communicate with folks.

Newcastle Speedway is looking for a new Press Officer.

Ideally, this would be someone already a supporter of Newcastle Diamonds and who would be willing to meet the deadlines set for us by the local press.

We must point out this is a voluntary role and help will be given on all aspects of the post to make the transition as easy as possible.

If you would like more information on this role, please contact info@newcastle-speedway.co.uk.

    Have you been sacked?

I think you mean rob and no I’m not rob I just think it’s crap blaming rob when he saved the club twice already having forked out a mint last year to make sure we had a team and I think you have a cheek to call yourself diamondboy try backing your promotion

I have spent thousands at the club over the years so I am entitled to an opinion. The fans spent a “mint” last season on the go fund me campaign. Did that money not help save the club? The bloke in my opinion is way out of his depth. You only hear anything from him when he wants a rant or the begging bucket comes out. But you keep licking his hoop, I’m sure he will appreciate it.

Got no idea how easy it is, am frightened of the sky remote!!!,,, a think some stuff is relayed at the stadium, but there's no way of knowing how many actually listen to what is said and comprehend it. Possibly many of them playing with tha phones on social media at the time, already, yesterday, sick?

So was everyone in the stadium on their phone yesterday?

Problem is, there is so many different platforms out there,,, suppose its akin to choosing you preferred energy supplier, decisions decisions decisions!!!,,, too many sweets to choose from?

Thing is though it is not rocket science to cover every base media wise, it is quite simple, but obviously not simple enough. They cannot even inform paying customers what is happening in the stadium.

    Taken from Facebook

The Newcastle Speedway promotion, along with the sports authorities, have taken the decision to postpone our next home fixture on Sunday 22nd May against Scunthorpe. This is to allow for essential track work to be carried out.
The promotion is working with BSP Limited and the Speedway Control Bureau to carry out this work.
We will of course keep all of our supporters up to date with this work, and hope to have everything complete and approved in time for our next fixture against Redcar on Sunday 29th

And again nothing whatsoever on the club website, not everyone does social media. Absolute joke, joke promotion.
