I would suggest the team Wolves are starting the 2020 season is not the one originally planned simples.........

That was 91 tho wasn't it ? , so top league by then.. i remember seeing him as a wobbler in the second half against Cradley that year or even possibly 92 - na 91 i reckon. The common link with most of the riders named is Neil Street. It wasn't just the Aussies he advised/coached/nurtured a few others that spring to mind include: Simon Wigg, Simon Cross, Steve Schofield, Scott Nicholls, N.K.I. Neil was much more than a team manager, sadly he was never accredited or rewarded for his dedication to the sport in the U.K. unlike he was in Australia. This didn't bother him as he did for the love of the sport.

Kirkmanshulme Lane Stadium to be demolished

Biggest problem Somerset has are restrictions within their planning consent. Otherwise there would/could be a lot more going on @ the Oaktree. P.S. I think the visit of Borris to the OTA was a feather in the cap to all concerned. Thank God it wasn't Corbyn & Abbott with her 2 left shoes! -
With the Poole coffers not what they once were, why would you give up possibly your biggest pay-day of the season for a testimonial? With Middlo's renowned rider connections a barren date would be far better date for the man himself. A top quality line-up (with some riders not U.K. based) would be reflected by a huge crowd.

Toilets....... Judged by some other tracks Somersets toilets are brilliant, you single out the pairs (a BSPA shared event) this is a once a year event a bit like Glastonbury! with the later staging in 2019 I think the size of crowd was underestimated. Not a great subject but toilets have very low priority within speedway, could be why it's mainly males that go, if you have ever taken your wife, girlfriend or daughter one visit to the looes & its an instance fear of ever returning.

I don't agree with all this anti Stoneman speel, Nathan scored good points for the Rebels 2019 I see a 5+ average for 2020.
-
Nathan will need a N.L. team place so he gets plenty of rides to develop & keep sharpe. With a smaller N.L. in 2020 there will be more riders than team places.

My question was do the 2 teams loaning the same rider pay half/ 50% each as this would be fair?
-
ASSETS loan fees etc. If a rider is loaned out to 2 teams (double up/down) do the clubs loaning the rider pay HALF the fee each?
-
Harris (Rebels rider of the year) was nicked by Birmingham BEFORE the 2019 season had finished, not good edicate by the Brummies!
-
Is that for the Rebels or the Pie-rats?

Plenty of signings since the AGM but not for Somerset, with Bjarne Pedersen not signed by anyone yet is he Gary's secret weapon!!!!!!!!!
-
Just read all the praise Grizzly Adams has giving Rory Schlein, the Rebels obviously signed a different Rory Schlein to the Wolves one in 2019! So the question is Gary which Rory Schlein have you signed for the Rebels in 2020?
-
Totally agree with the first & second comments, but for me we need 3 leagues of different levels. Currently the Championship has to many riders that should ONLY be in the Premiership. Lots of reasons for this but stopping young talent progressing is one.

Birmingham Brummies 2020

Can't see Stoneman going anywhere than Somerset, lots of family support & popular with the crowd & management! -
You must be a blinkered promoter or a deluded fan.........However I think Swindon were one of the less affected teams in 2019 with ONLY 4? of your riders also members of other U.K. teams! but you did have Ellis Perks who was somehow allowed to ride for 3 U.K. teams.
-
I hope the AGM have addressed the farcical double-up situation where your very own 1 to 7 are all riding for different U.K. teams the following night! this has gone completely out of control & unless addressed our sport will never have any mainstream credibility.
-
Has to be Yellow/ Black quarters easily seen. Will the AGM give us BREAKING NEWS to fix our beloved sport - or more than likely something nearer to BREAKING WIND!.... same old news..
-
The cost cutting doesn't work, as signing new riders mid season mean extra cost to meet the new riders demands & teams have already paid out once. The management do not realise fans & sponsors have an alliance with their team members, constantly chopping & changing riders = lost fans & sponsors (simples).
-
You forgot to mention the ditching of the WHITE helmet colour to be replaced with the LGBT multi coloured strips. This will then bring back all the missing supporters that have been absent the last few years.
-
I think you have missed the point, Chris Bomber Harris was the most popular Rebel crowd wise during the 2019 season followed by Nico & Anders, yet somehow Rory Schlein is awarded the rider of the season?
-
Does anyone know where you can find a list of teams rider assets. I know Poole have a lot & Somerset few but don't know who.
-
Facts are there is no rider & that includes Jason Doyle more popular with the Rebels fans than Charles Wright. I have my own successful business & very much in connection with the real world. Also I'm in no doubt that a few of the current (2019) squad did not come cheap! P.S. I'm very much in favour of a happy team, riders risk their necks every race their in so it's important that there is mutual respect among team mates.
