It actually denotes what stage the servicing is at, some engine builders change different parts at different services and that is a way of keeping track.

Green- Just been serviced, Black- Needs an Oil Change, Red- About to blow up.

If there is a track available at Rye House, which it seems it is, and there is a promotion able to run speedway there and there seems there is, would you not think it would be in the interests of everyone to put one with the other and keep speedway going, irrespective of the arguments between the former Rye House promotion and the BSPA

But if the former Rye House Promotion own the track then it's unlikely that the BSPA would want to see them getting any return on their investment by renting the track to someone else.

Have to agree thought things were bad but ..........    think we need a wholesale rethink of the team - not going to say who I would drop but (and I don't know about the averages) I would be talking to Tai / Freddie Lindgren  Ricky Wells and James Shanes - many more matches with this team and our season is over - we could have actually won our match at Poole last week but failed to use the TR when we had the chance (quite simple really do you want to see Summers and KK have 4 rides each or Summers 3 and KK 5)- expected to lose at Swindon but last night was a complete disaster (to actually say that we stand a chance of winning on aggregate on Wed  well what can one say?)

60-30 on Wednesday, win on aggregate, Sorted.

You can't please everybody and everyone has there own views on mx track but im looking forward to maybe attending a mx event on a sat night

Will Definitely give the MX a go, the last time I went to a live event it was called Scrambling, rediscovered live Grass Track last year after a 50 year gap and will be going again this year. Biggest problem I have in following all the disciplines of Motorsport that I enjoy apart from cost is my ability to drive/ride long distances, spectate at an event and drive/ride home again afterwards, on the same day.

  5. Now I have the answer to the the question "Why a KTM Dealereship" , because not only can we sell you an off road bike but provide somewhere you can ride it as well. Truly inspired thinking especially as the weather would need to be really dire to cause cancellation of a meeting and I would imagine Stadium Moto X is likely to stimulate more spectator interest than Speedway.

Back in the mid to late 60s we used to go to Rye House and watch Go Kart Racing which used to finish before the Speedway started at 4pm on Sundays so got to watch both 2 and 4 wheel sport in one day and I would imagine that the management are not blind to the potential crossover today either.

Regarding the Speedway, if I find my viewing experience is not to my liking I will go to Peterborough instead, despite the distance as having visited a few times as an away supporter of Rye House I found I preferred it as a venue.

  6. Have to agree racing was poor last night. It seems to have got worse the last few weeks.

Had to move from the back straight as it was so dusty, more water was needed.

The time it was taking to grade the track took almost as long as the 4 heats in between. Wouldn't have minded if the racing was top draw but it wasn't.

Pretty much why I've stopped going.

We should have kept him last season. Looked the real deal in his season with us in 2015, almost achieved his assessed seven point average that year which isn't heard of very much.

We should have tried to find a way to accommodate him this season too at the start and with the averages changing from today seeing some riders dropping more points from their averages we should have tried to find a way to get him in the team if he was available to come over and race for a Saturday night track.

Out of the remaining six scheduled home meetings only one is on a Saturday, four on a Wednesday and one Bank holiday Monday so Saturday night track has sadly become a misnomer.

What a silly statement, Leicester are 11 points behind us (they only have 10 all season) we have lost only once at home and that was down to Kennett our "No1" bottling heats 13 and 15.

I do though feel that the play offs are just out our reach thanks to being completely stiched up by KL TWICE

Not wishing to pick an argument but we got turned over at home by Swindon in the KOC so that makes 2 home defeats.

There a are potentially 3 "Banana Skins" in the coming home meetings, Swindon and Belle Vue who have both tasted success at Hoddesdon and Poole when surely Eddie Kennett will be out to prove a point one way or the other. Time will tell.

  9. I think some are being a bit harsh on Mr Schroeck as he appears to have built a really good team spirit and massively improved the interaction with fans. To me this outweighs the occasional poor tactical decision as long as he learns from the mistakes and doesn't keep repeating them.
