  1. They could have done that when we had a big track grade after heat 8. Even allowing for injuries it went on too long.

More than competitive, especially after getting wiped out in heat by by Schramm. Very good win to beat Bach in heat 15.

Newcastle had no top end power and Workington's big four dominated. Howarth was especially impressive.

surely,,, not the 1st,,, or last, lol

  2. Had this down as an away win ,but Robbo injury has changed all that Speedy recovery Robbo. Will George try and pull an other rabbit out his hat and sign another rider.

IMO,,, might be best to see how good the first rabbit is,,, had some bad luck upto now, but think George has brought in changes that were needed, but can you just keep on bringing new faces in ?

Best ov luck, n a speedy to Robbo

  3. Anyone know why Micky Dyer never appeared in heat 14?

maybe, after ht13, was injured by being hit by Matty's flying rattle,,, you know, health n safety n that, looked as if Robbo's cup of tea, or whatever may have been spilt aswell !!!

good to hear we made a signing,,, and pleased to hear it was'nt anyboby previously mentioned on here,,, even tho, J Heinz even went thru my mind  , but then again, I am stupid, nite nite

  4. Correction Newcastle cost themselves the title last year by Picking Somerset in their group and not Edinburgh.

would'nt agree with that,,, IMO, Newcastle cost themselves the title by 'not' replacing Steve Worrall', out with a broken leg, !!!

its not like Somerset won it anyway,,,

  5. I see Christian Henry is out for the season, Diamonds are looking for a replacement. Claus Nedermark and Pepe Franc are available I believe, anyone else got any ideas?

well,,, just read the news on the website,,, and the way it looks to me, is that George is looking to sign anyone that has the 'potential' to score between 0-12 points,,, so that narrows it down a bit, bit of a grey area there then,,, hmmm

  6. What and face being banned?? have a word with yourself man....Berwick had the same problem at Ipswich tonight...

why should he be banned ? seems like his contracts must contradict each other, or have the rules over this kind of thing not been made up yet either?,,, sure thing is,,, no-one ever seems to know, or abide by the rules that have been made up anyway, which is ok, suppose its all part of the game,,, why keep it simple ?

  7. Great score from Adam. I dont know how the guy keeps getting back on and coming back time after time. Really pleased for him.

Newcastle can probably feel a little hard done by, if Ludvig had been there you have to fancy he'd have score 4 or 5 to sneak them a win, in stead they get nothing. As it is, the titles decided by play-offs and Newcastle are as close to a certainly for them as it gets so no great loss int he scheme of things.

have to agree, you don't have to win the league to be champions,,, but IMO, the Diamonds just hav'nt got that cutting edge to grind it out, hope I'm wrong,,,

 Ah well at least Ludvig cant get the blame this time for letting the side down.....

yes he can,,, he should've been there !!!

  8. seems the whiter than white mr worrall isnt happy about slagging redcar fans off in the speedway star hes now turned his attentions to having a go at young girls in the pits and also threatening people on twitter so ive heard this morning.

i dont condone any sort of bad behaviour towards a rider but surely riders must know they are going to come accross some sort of banter during their days as a rider wether it be jeering name calling booing etc.

enjoyed last nights meeting, not being your typical dearby match and the track looked much better than it had been, very disapointed with ostrich and summers as we needed them to step up a gear, well done to the jawdees though a very entertaining meeting

I was standing with Redcar fans, which 1 ov whom had said that Richie called him a' Keema Naan Onion Baghee' ,,, and he said that he had been giving Worrall stick on tw@tter and he laughed about it,,, but still gave Richie stick every time he passed !!!

and bri1966,,, a clown did turn up, but after heat 10, he had a big curly wig and was carrying a bucket, did you not see him ??? ,,he looked a bit like the clown that attacked Graeme Stapleton at Brough Park many moons ago, lol

  9. Have to admit I'm further round on second bend and was not paying attention when he fell. Have no problem with his reaction mind, if the crowd give someone stick they should expect it back - all part of the fun.

yip,,, they gave him some stick

can anyone explain why 'Summers' was excluded for delaying the start,,, and 'Robson' was excluded for not being under power at the start of the race, that was not officially under way at the time, (otherwise, why exclude Summers),,, it seems to be a bit of a contradiction !!!,,, am I just being ignorant, or was the ref just a 'ffffing eejit' ?

but on a whole, we enjoyed our first visit to the Bears Lair and found the fans ok,,, the ice-cream man cud do with cheering up a bit like :-)

  10. I agree. Maybe they thought he was due one of his special starts. To be fair none of the other options looked much better. Tully took 4 laps to get by Steve Worrall and only did that when Worrall drifted too far out on bend 3/4 and Lindgren looked equally back off the pace in his last couple of starts. The other option i guess was Kerr (maybe why he was only give 6 starts to that point) but he had also struggled in his last couple of races, one of them behind Robson.

having moaned about our top 4's ability to mix it with the top men of other teams, this week they proved head and shoulders above the oppositions top men.

still,,, strange, to have your 2 lowest points scorers at the time going into ht 15

  11. really pleased Steve has decided to step down, cos it were'nt getting any better for him, could'nt even get passed that really bad Ipswich rider the other week, (ht 2),,, and was giving his best to pass Deek in the next meeting and it went a bit scary,,, n that was that,,, good luck either way n hope to see him back soon,,, dunno if his replacement will warrant any 'kevlars' ? ,,,, :-)
