Certainly the weather forecast that I looked at was misleading (The Met Office) which was a surprise to me, in the past they have been pretty much spot on. It said showers and sunny periods. Not 3 hours of continues rain. That's why I thought the meeting would be on. Oh well..................I suppose even Michael Fish got it wrong.

The weather forecast said Showers, not persistent 3 hours worth of rain. I apologise for being optimistic, and you do talk rubbish, that's when it's possible to actually understand what the hell you do go on about.

Bank Holiday Monday will see some bright or sunny spells, although cloud will increase at times and scattered showers are likely, possibly turning heavy or thundery later in the day. At moment in Nottingham dry, had no rain at all.

It does seem pretty complicated and I guess the real answer is nobody, except those involved, really know what is happening. If they can pull it off it would give Leicester a real fighting chance of making the top four .

Birmingham do look a very poor side. I can't see them doing much at BP to be honest. It will be interesting to see how Leicester line up and with the meeting at Swindon getting ever closer no news about the so called new signing yet. I hope it's who I think it is

DH in The Leicester Mercury. I can say with some confidence we are also lining up an exciting long-term replacement for Peter Ljung and have also agreed terms with a rider to act as short-term cover for Tom Perry. I believe the rider in question has the ability to score heavily from the fast-track reserve berth and an announcement will be made shortly as to who that is. That just leaves the situation regarding Hougaard, and we are awaiting confirmation as to his possible return date to the team.

It's not the Ljung/Hougard thing particularly. Just a general lack of any information to come out of BP really. People do obviously know about these things, and usually post them on here. And yes, it would be nice for Leicester to acknowledge the fact that the two riders have gone or not.

Nice to follow a team that keeps supporters up to date with all the latest happenings at the club. With instant information posted on the team website the moment it happens. Just look at that team the Berwick Bandits, they have a news letter that supporters can subscribe to, for free, which is sent out in an email to arrive in your in box once a week. It tells fans all the latest comings and goings, whats going off team wise and even if meetings are on or off. What a daft idea................who the hell thought that would catch on. Just had another crazy idea. Perhaps advertising could be sold on it to help with the cost..........Naaaaaaa maybe not.

Totally agree. One of the best riders Leicester have had in terms of professionalism, commitment and always tries his best for the club. Plus, he's a gentleman.

Where has he confirmed his departure? Saw twitter and his tweet to Anton Rosen but since see he has said he hasn't been dropped. That doesn't necessarily mean he isn't leaving though I don't know, it seems like most things regarding Leicester speedway, that no one wants to tell anyone else what is actually happening.

If last night is anything to go by i would expect another very large crowd tonight. Don't you think it's about time the Leicester handyman got his saw out and made a couple of more holes in the fence so that there are more than only two places you can pay to get in. Perhaps the National Trust has bought the fence and some sort of extensive planning permission would be needed to make this happen.. In short get there early or join a very long cue.
