Mr Stead obviously knows a lot more about riding a Speedway bike than I do. All I can say is that the fairy dust aint working very well, or something else is wrong. Because it didn't produce exciting close racing thats for sure.

Fair coment. Sheffield were better than I thought they would be. I'm not so sure it would have been so close had Roynon been riding. But, he wasn't, and Sheffield did make a fist of it. I've not yet fully made my mind up about the track. It was very very slick, I think it could do with more dirt on it. I stand on the 4th turn and there is definatly more of a outside line developing and that will perhaps improve things in the coming weeks. I don't know if the cold weather had any bearing on things but the racing at Scunthorpe the day before wasn't to its useual standard either. I suppose time will tell.

Don't think this will be much of a contest to be honest. Carn't see Sheffield getting any where close.

I shall be going to this one, and would be suprised if we didn't come away with a win.

Just over a week to go until the Lions get back into action with the visit of the Coventry Bees. I must admit I'm rather looking forward to the up and coming season. Looks like we have a fairly strong team this year. How do you think we'll do ?

How does one become a part promoter ? Are you elected to the position by the members of the board of directors, or do you invest an amount of cash in to the business. Do you answer an advert in the promoters and posh titles gazette or do you just know someone ?

I don't know if the changes will make any difference and to be honest, I don't think anyone does. At least not until there has been a few meetings. I think it probably wise to reseve jugment until that has happened. All I will say is that I hope they have got it right this time. I personally can't stand another season of follow the leader every week.

I think there is probably a sizable amount of money that can be earned by the top boys in the PL. However, I think you need to be scoring well consistantly. A couple of bad weeks and I guess what you earned previously is wiped out. I suspect they also rather enjoy the job.

With all this digging going off, and it being in Leicester. I hope you don't find a kings remains under there !

I'm sure most people want the track changers to happen, in fact it's very important that they do. ​The management at Leicester have said this will be done so we have no alternative other than to believe them. I believe that this is to important for them to ignore or do nothing about. And I'm sure they realize what a negative impact not changing things would have. We have a great looking team for 2013 and I'm sure come March we will also have a better race track with much improved racing.

You could be right, the simple answer is nobody really knows what will happen.. It looks a good solid team to me and I think it will do very well.................Only time will tell.

Your never going to get the perfect team. I think it's never easy to get a really good reserve pairing but, I think we have done pretty well in that department. Certainly as good as some other teams. With the riders we now have we are always going to be top heavy. I think our top end will blow most of the opposition away and I can see a few away wins coming our way.

Just out of interest. What do people think about Kevin Doolan ? If my memory serves me right I don't think he did that well at BP on his appearances last season. I could stand corrected. I know he wasn't having the best of times at Ipswich and his form did improve with his move to Redcar. Do you think he will do a better job than Magnus ? I suppose we will have to wait and see.

Very pleased to know you can spot talent when you see it .

I think the team has a good balance to it, and wont be far off winning something next season. especially the fours . Signing Roynon was a stroke of genius.

Can't say I'm overly disappointed about not being in the EL next season. I think it makes more sense to stay where we are for a bit longer. Get the track right and put a good winning team together.

I'm not disputing the fact that the track is being altered. The point is the alterations need to produce better racing !

If Leicester do find them self's in the EL next season I wonder what night they will race on at BP. Obviously they won't be able to use weekends. Do you think this will have an effect on the size of the gate ? I personally think it will, also another key factor is the track I think it will need to produce much better racing or the proposed move up could all go terribly wrong.
