Cookie gave Ben a full on push didn't just take his front wheel, he shoulder charged Tom in a later race but Tom stayed on. In ht15 he gave Picko a hard time coming out of the fourth turn, in front of the Monarchs fans, Picko waved his arm up and I'm sure I heard him shout What the fork Monarch? -
Hope there's no future problems for speedway as greyhound trainers withdraw dogs from racing after numerous problems with starting traps.
-
If it was Towcester the heading wouldn't have been Oxford. The sister track at Towcester, run by the Boothby's, also has trouble with the traps.
-
This happened last week, the Boothby's were at Shawfield a few weeks ago to look at the traps but never agreed a purchase. Talk is the Greyhound Derby could be moved.

Especially with the compartment for a steel shoe.

A big deal was made about Morris when David McAllan went through the fence. What's your point caller? -

I was under the impression that if the ref fined a rider then no further penalty could be impossed. -

Been there, there is also a horse racing track attatched to it. -
BAGS, Bookies Afternoon Greyhound Service, meetings are beamed to bookie shops. They are paid for by the bookies and don't depend on "on track" punters.

The Clyde Clowns aren't satisfied with breaking and entering Shawfield but knock down walls and spray profanities. Another interloper yesterday thought it was OK to wander inside because there was a hole in the wall to come in. If they asked to come in permission would probably be given.
-
The King family still own it.
-
They couldn't afford it, being a wooden stand they probably wouldn't get a safety certificate for football to be played in it.
-
I know thwe stadium is finished but it isn't abandoned if staff are still working was my point.
-
Good to put a face to the person who entered Shawfield ilegally and carried out acts of vandalism. Did the video guy not see the Clyde Clown tie the scarf or put the sticker on the post? The stadium isn't abandoned as there is still staff working there.
