To be fair, Leicester's gates are at least as good as Plymouth's. Having said that, on the occasions I went to SBA last season I don't think any gate was under four figures, and that's almost certainly better than anyone else. The gate at the last match against Edinburgh was truly astonishing - pushing 2,000 for a nothing match on a cold October night - and the queue's outside at start time had to be seen to be believed.
Leicester were averaging over 2000 even when they were continuously losing home and away.

I would like to suggest a slight tweak to the way match points are distributed with 4 points being available for every result not just those with away teams winning by 7 or more as follows.
Home teams or away teams winning by 7+ to receive 4 points.
Home teams or away teams only winning by 6 or less to receive 3 points with the remaining point being awarded to the losing team.
In the event of a draw both teams to be awarded 2 points each.
I say we go back to the bonus point for the better aggregate sore over the two home and away matches; Lions would still have finished bottom!!!

has chris popple gone blind because i swear he can't read a programme , he read the races the wrong way round (yellow to red when in programme its red to yellow) very confusing . then he starts annoucing rider who are not even in the meeting i.e Josh Auty it is beyond me how he manages to cock it up every single week
You have not noticed then that he is consistent. He has always annoumnced yellow to red and his predecessors did it as well. He is consistent in this.

With 10 days till tapes up for this meeting & still not 1 rider named as taking part, has anyone got any idea who is riding ????
The Leicester promoter & our mate Mr Popple keep promising a top class field with Elite League riders i hope they don't fail on this because alot of fans will be annoyed if the field is weak.
They have to pull their finger out - The Pride of the East is on the same evening and their line up has already been declared (See seperate thread)
